Also, so sick of this guy on craigslist, if anyone is like me, I just run a search every few days just for "Subaru" or "WRX" have found a couple things for good deals from time to time, but some asshead has been running the same ad over and over again for his stupid 04 sti hub.

I have lost 2 separate sets of keys in the snow because there was a hole in my jacket pocket. The second set I lost this afternoon walking about 20ft from the door to my car. I spent a half hour looking for them with no luck, after which I was ready to destroy something with rage. I have already sewed my pocket back together and now I need to find the keys. Fail.

I have this hilarious image of you in my head right now. I can see you with a hair dryer and a long extension cord melting the snow in your yard.

Do you have a torpedo heater for your garage? You might be able to melt the snow in small patches. most heat will be lost to the air but it might be enough for localized melting.

Obviously, this would only work if you lost them in your yard. If you lost them in a parking lot someplace....good luck with that!!!

Would suck to swap your dp every year just for inspection. Just get a high flow cat dp and you will never know.

non catted means you at least have the possibility of shooting fireballs. cats = no fireballs.

I am in this predicament. There's a visual test in Allegheny county as far as I know, but a wrapped catless DP is gonna be a dead giveaway

I wouldnt have an issue with emissions
My neon hasnt been on a lift for an inspection for 6 years . My dad is an ASE master and I know people. So all I do it take brake measurements, etc etc and give it to my guy.

Plus I dont have to swap the whole dp, I have a turboxs I'm putting on sunday. I would just have to change the cat or race pipe section.

I've been running torqued performance's stage 1, and will be using his stage 2. I havent logged yet but just by glancing down I seen that the richest afr was 11.0 on the AP, I dont beleive thats a constant 11.0 at WOT but still seems a little rich, Heard Eric likes to run his maps a little rich instead of fine tuning in fear that it'll go too lean on someone's car.

Jeremy. Small frame smith is definitely on my approved list. The hammerless models. I carry a taurus cia in 38S +P. I also carry a 32 mag loaded with five of the eight Glaser Safety Slugs I have left. Don't have the privilege of buying those anymore. Sometimes I carry one or both of the 45 cal American Derringer over and unders the X got me for my birthday back when I turned 40. I usually load them with 20g six shot in the bottom hole.

On the laser. Good for home defense. I highly endorse them for that. Most street defense encounters are like five meters or so. You will acquire center mass with your eyes and iron site pretty fast. Don't add the step of looking for the dot. Your brain will want to focus your bino vision before it admits that the dot exists. Sounds like semantics I know but just like in racing tenths count.

Enough of the Rambo stuff for me. I just wanted to share what I've been taught . I figure if you guys want to carry I should share what I know.

On another note today was my last day of six weeks training @ the new job. I got promoted to a supervisor position . I am in customer service for Verizon. Knew about the I phone for a few weeks. It was never official but was pretty much common knowledge.

Droid fans. Stay tuned for the Bionic. 1 GHZ Dual core processor and DDR ram. It will be able to run the same firefox browser a lot of you are running right now. A laptop dock will be available. Basically a 13" or so screen and full size keyboard that uses the phone as the computing hardware. None of this is a secret. There is a bionic thread in the droid forum.

Peace out Subie people . Catch you guys in a day or two.

does this mean we all get discounts?

I had a droid and my girlfriend had an eris. about 4 months ago or whenever the X came out we bought them full retail over the phone but I was able to get a little discount from the CSR Think it was $300/ea.
about a week later they added on 4 years to our contract lol. Now I have no intention of leaving verizon but 4 years....? lol I want the chance to get up to date phones at discounted new every 2 ya know. So they fixed that and it was back to about 6 months left on our contract. I had a problem with my droid X and the buttons sticking the first week of gettting it and asked to be sent a new one. I was promised it would be NEW not certified like new and was sent a refubished phone 3 times each with their own little problem... Im sure others would be pissed if they just spent $300 on a phone and was given a refurbished one a week later to replace it. Finally they sent me a NEW one after a month and even this one I've had since has a white line across the entire top of the screen. and our contract was extended 2 years because of that...
Anything you could do with that contract screw up?

I have it all typed down on the computer somewhere. It's pretty interesting and fun to read if you want me to pm you it haha

I am still awake so I will give you the best answer I can. There is no four year contract. Only one or two. Both with early upgrades at ten and twenty months respectively. As far as three bad droid X's I am surprised to hear that. I bought mine certified pre owned and it was pristine. I posted touting this as a great way to save money. Certified like new replacement phones replace your used phone with another. If you were within the thirty day worry free the rep could have processed a return. You could then have walked into a store and picked up another. Bad luck is at you on this one. The motorolas have the lowest failure rate with the x at the very bottom. Most Droid X returns are from people that couldn't figure out how to use them. As far as discounts go the advertised prices are all anyone gets. I get a discount on service not hardware. The advertised discounts are pretty deep though. Fifty percent in most instances with a two year contract. That is on the newest technology . Not phase out stuff.

As far as the one you have having a problem don't sit around on that. Call right away. Everything you have gone through will br documented do getting another should be easy. From what I read the problem is with the hardware not the contract. You have to sign a two year to get a new phone for half of retail. You just seem to be getting bad phones.

I know there wasnt a 4 year contract, just 1 and 2's but someone messed up. that was fixed but they still added on 2 years all said and done. a supervisor said I shouldnt have since I paid retail or even $300 each. once I got the last phone with the white line you can see at certain angles I gave up and have since called about the contract extension when I didnt authorize it. I'll have to call back soon and dispute it because I dont want to be hindered on future newer phones coming out.

I get 19% off of my service due to my fiancee's employer, could get us a better discount on the service? maybe changing the employer?
Im always out to save a buck lol

I can't get you a discount. All you can get is whatever your employer qualifies for. 19% is plenty. If her name isn't on the account you should not be getting that. So be happy. I just noticed you paid retail for your phones. Three hundred is too low for an x. Should have been like five hundred. Three hundred was the with two year contract price over the summer if I remember right. In order to enter that contract into the system there has to be a code. I don't think there is one. There is also a full disclosure that you have to sign before the contract is valid. Did you get this phone at a Verizon store or third party vendor ? Like say a mall kiosk or wal Matt ? Sometimes saving a buck can end up costing a lot.

yeah, the bionic is on motorola's site and looks kick arse! and droid x's do retail over $500. $300 with $100 "rebate" with 2yr deal. They were also doing buy one get one but that was something i cant remember, lol.

I see they are not listing the web dock as an accessory. It works with the Atrix and they are pretty much the same phone so it should be ready to go. you will be ready soon if I remember right. Buy your phone on line and the 35 dollar activation fee is waived. The X is now 99 dollars certified pre owned with a two year contract and 199 after 100 dollar rebate new . The X and the bionic are very similar but the bionic will be faster and will be able to run even more app at once without slowing down. It will most likely cost you four times the price of a pre owned x for 25% jump in performance. ( I'd hit it LOL) It has twice the ram and four times the computing power than my very first desk top. A gateway 500 back in the late 90's. That is taking the dual core processor into the equation. My 90's single core 500 mhz chip would be no match for even the single core 1G processor in my X.

Droid is now the number one selling phone os. Still, it took a slew of manufacturers producing multiple products each to pass the I phone.

New every two is dust and 30 day worry free are gone as of today. You now get 14 days to decide if you want to keep your phone and the ne2 is replaced by the deep discounts. If you already have ne2 you are good for one more go. I got in just under the wire with my very old ne2 agreement. Still get one hundred off on the next one and then that's it.

Okay, no more gun or phone talk from me

Wait til it rains on Tuesday or go to radio shack and get a cheap metal detector. While you are a at it stop by the gap and buy some jeans.

Leaving for Lawrenceville in a few minutes. Go Stillers !!!
