a couple of q's
what's double clutching? And what's the difference between a half dog gearbox and a full dog gearbox, as opposed to a reinforced and strengthened stock gearbox? Tahnks

Double clutching is letting the clutch out at neutral in between shifts so you can rev match the engine to cars'(tranny's) speed, allowing for a smooth shift without jolts (if done correctly),
a 1/2 dog has 1st and 2nd gear without synchros... so double clutching helps get it into gear smoother... then there is a 4 dog which as you can tell is 1st-4th dog(no synchros) and 5th is synchro... full dog goes all the way without synchros... |
