Heavy duty seat covers
I have a 04 impreza rs and a 95lb black lab who rides in it who does not sit still. I am trying to make my seats more dog proof so he does not tear them up are there any really heavy duty seat covers?

Assuming he sits in the back?
I'd say search the GD classifieds for a spare set of rear seats for dirt cheap, swap around as needed. |

I just bought two of those "As Seen on TV PetZoom Loungee Auto Pet Seat Covers", one hangs off the front headrests, and lays on top of the other one hanging from the back seat head rests. Since your dog moves around a lot I would just sew them together when you figure out the right length for your car. Mine stay put, but so does my black lab lol.
They are dirt cheap, water proof and seem to be holding up well enough for me... -Mac |

I have Wet Okole seat covers in my car. They're pretty awesome. I've had them for 3 years now with no issues at all.

I custom made some for my dog. I took heavy duty blanket sewed some straps in the top to loop around the head rest, then measured from the top of the seat to the bottom and sewed on some dowels to stuff in between the backs rest and the butt rest then measured again from the top and bottom seat meeting to where the back of the knees would sit and sewed on some more dowels to stuff under the seat and it works like a charm.
by dowels i mean I wrapped a cloth really tight then super glued it do itself so it would stay wrapped and used a 1 inch webbing and sewed it to the blanket and the cloth. I have pics if you are interested. just ask through PM because i will probably forget about this |
