06 Wagon setup with Epic springs?
Did allot of searching but not allot of setup with Epic springs.
Could you guys give me an idea if I will have any rubbing issues. It will be on Epic springs (supposed to be 25mm lower in the front and a little less in the rear) no fender rolling. Rota G-Force 17x8 +48 Yokohama S.drive 245/40/17 or Rota Tarmac 2 17x7.5 +48 Yokohama S.drive 245/40/17 Will either of these rub, or do I need to go with 225/45/17's? No auto x'ing or racing just DD. |

Not a wagon expert by any means but a lot of wagon guys have rubbing problems even with 225/45/17 on a +48 rim. 245 on a wagon is much more challenging than on a sedan, especially on stock spring rates. I feel pretty comfortable in telling you that 245/40/17 +48 on a wagon without fender rolling is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!
BTW, 245/40/17 requires a 17x8.5" to 17x9.5" wide rim. 17x7.5" really doesn't cut it and 17x8" is still slightly too narrow (although many will say that's fine) |

With either setup you will likely have rubbing issues. 245 is really wide for a wagon. I am running Goodyear Eagle F1 235/40/17 on a 17x8 +48 wheel with Wagon pink springs. I haven't rubbed yet, but I expect to roll the fenders at some point. Looking at the position of the tire relative to the fender, it is clear that it will rub with enough spring compression.

So if I went with a 225 what offset should I shoot for on the rims?
