Mark Jones Tuning! PM Mark (user name: brocksdad)

If you want to speak with some people he has tuned come out to a SanTan meet or PM:

v8eaterWRX - 2005 WRX 2.0, VF22, 6spd, e85, FMIC, Injectors, etc

Erik - 2005 (?) WRX 2.0, FP Green, 6spd, Injectors, FMIC, e85(?), etc

ChandlerWRX06 - 2006 WRX 2.5, VF39, 6spd, STi TMIC, Injectors, e85, etc <-- dyno'd 363 whp at goodspeed recently.

06AZForesterXt - 2006 Forester XT 2.5, VF39, AT, TMIC, 91 octane, etc

He tunes open source with a wideband. I have ridden in all these cars except the Forester XT which is only because it was just tuned and they were very impressive. I drove v8eaterWRX's ride and it smoother than I would have guessed and fast as hell!

If you need a Cobb protune goto Clark Turner (www.clarkturner.com) or you can schedule with him for a dyno tune through Goodspeed.

Clark is one of the best nationally known tuners and he is based here locally. I am sure he has tuned more Subarus than anyone.

Clark tunes my bugeye, it runs smoothly and is very fast. I dynoed 488hp on 22psi at Goodspeed. The wastegate spring I had at the time would not go any higher. He retuned it after I changed the spring but I have not dynoed it since. My car is tuned on UTEC speed density.

An I got a JDM motor with a Greddy rotated kit to go with my JDM 6 speed..

Ill throw another vote in for Clark, especially when it comes to the Utec. He has a ton of experience on the UTEC, and has been tuning these cars for a LONG time.

Good guy, and he knows these cars extremely well.

I like the feature in my UTEC that flashes the check engine light if the car knocks and having five maps is convenient.

The UTEC speed density software works excellent. Cobb still has not gotten the bugs out of their speed density upgrade.

Clark does an excellent job of tuning UTEC, he has had one in his own car since 2002..
