Default control arm/ALK swap?

hey all, i wanted to see if anyone is running an ALK on their GC8 chassis with GDB STI arms and a GDB cradle, and if so which chassis they were made for.

for instance, if you have a GC8 with GDB arms, and have the whiteline alk (sport, race) which part number? 319 or 359? those are the two base part numbers for the GC8 and GDB ALKs respectively. i basically want to figure out which ones i need to get. any info would help.

thanks

i used an 03 sedan wrx front control arm on my 97 OBS wagon... I used the whiteline ALK for the GC/GM/GF chassis. i've wondered if i should use the later model ALK, but with the old model ALK and the new control arm on the old chassis, it seems to work just fine...

Doesnt change anything, you need to use the GC ALK. The only difference with the GD ALK's are the spacers for the extra underbody brace that they have, the actual transverse link bushing piece is the same.

hmmm... i now regret selling my GC ALK, luckily i didnt ship it yet so i might have to return his money.
so the difference in part numbers is really jsut to compensate for the spacing off the chassis?

Yup, just a couple of extra spacers for the GD's...
