Default Datalogging Problems

I have a 2012 WRX stage 1, I went to do a datalog on my vehicle and its a no go.My car has been tuned since about 800 miles, I was doing a datalog on it, before I went to stage 2 to be familiar with the setup. I have used other tuning software such as Hondata, but this is my first Suby and my first OTS tuning. I recently updated the Romraider software, but even before that it didnt work. I try and connect to the ECU it doesnt connect, or even attempt to. In my parameter screen its blank, before I updated it it at least gave me parameters. It flashes a tune just fine, just want connect to the ECU for a datalog or show parameters. The ECU editor software allows me to edit, but its counterpart seems to not like my car. Any suggestion would be great. Thank You in advance.

Read the Romraider FAQ's...............99% of the time it is user error from not reading the FAQ's/instructions.

you need the ecu definitions for the logger, check out rom raiders website and get those updated. Also are you running it on a laptop with vista? I had problems with logging and flashing with vista so I upgraded to windows 7 and no more problems

Some questions are not posted on there yet especially for Windows 8. I did research before posting and could'nt find anything helpful.

What kind of tune are you running? a Protune or E tune or did you tune it yourself?
