Try to imagine it without the choil and it looks even better. And yes, out of their entire line up, the canvas micarta provides the most grip.

I wore it for a little today. I question the screw adaptor that holds the camera in, so check that every so often while wearing it. Also noticed the lens likes to creep while hanging. Outside of those two things, it's perfect and very comfortable. I like the fact I can keep my camera on me at all times now without looking like a tourist/tool.
