Unhappy Where's the good tuners in Michigan?

Not sure if the new owners of speed industry tune subarus to their full potential. I've heard some bad reviews. Same goes with force engineering in plain well. Looking to tune an ej207 as soon as I put her in. All the essentials to make 350-400hp. Anyone know anybody worth seeing? All the little shops seemed to have picked up and left!

There is strictly imports (http://www.strictlyimportmotorsports.com/Default.asp) between mattawan and Kalamazoo. There's also a couple places in Kalamazoo I believe. You can also do e tuning. I've got a tactrix cable if you have a base map that you want to flash before driving it to the shop. I live in paw paw. Can always email me at hurd.jason1@gmail.com

I'm a new owner of a 2012 wrx. I take it that there are no tuners in the Lansing area? I'm looking for a tune, open to ideas from you guys.

Chicago, P&L. Jr Does E support after the fact when he's got time.
E tune, Eric M @ Torqued Performance.
E Tune STi Mikey or phatron or clark turner or some of the guys above.
There are two shops in detroit, Horsepower techs and BCP, I have no interaction with either.

I don't know you guys above from men on the moon, so don't take what I have to say personally, you could be the best tuners out there and I wouldn't know it…

having said that, I would go with someone that has done 100s of SUBARUs not 100s of cars. Tuning a Chevy V8 is hardly comparable to a subaru.

Best of Luck OP, there is a great grand rapids thread full of good dudes There is also a kzoo thread as well.

Pure tuning in Toledo is who I will be trying out (not Michigan, but close if you are in Detroit area). They do Cobb tuning and have a 2015 WRX on the lot there they are playing with.

Oakos is in Sterling Heights. As mentioned Horsepower Techs.

Tony Simmons did my car, before I bought it, but I'm pretty happy with it!
I believe he is also on Nasioc.

There is a thread somewhere with all this stuff.

Tony Simmons tuned my car and my friends built, 18G turbo'ed, 04 WRX wagon too. very good tuner. I think he tunes a little on the safe side but I have no problem with that.

I want to check out Boost Controlled Performance, they have tuned quite a few subies from what I see on their Facebook.
