Question What size bung on GodSpeed GT Spec II Up Pipe?

I installed my Godspeed DP and GT Spec II header last night and what a friggen PITA that was! I really hate working on this car. I swear my next house will have a garage with a lift.

Anyway, everything is in and working but the up pipe has a bung for an EGT sensor (I think) that Dan puts there. I currently don't have an EGT sensor so it's just a gaping hole in the exhaust.

What size bolt would I need to plug it up? Thread pitch, ect?

I called God and he wasn't answering the phone yet (early).

Thanks for the help.

I'm confused where the bung is. The GT Spec II headers comes with a uppipe too? It should just be the standard EGT bung size which is M12 x 1.25.

My OEM STi up pipe didn't have an EGT sensor or any bung on it.

The GT Spec II up pipe has a bung. I thought Dan added this, may be standard, I dunno.

All I know is there is an open bung on my up pipe and i need to plug it with some sized bolt until I get an EGT sensor.

Any thoughts?

I saw it but you didn't seem too sure.
The bolt doesn't fit because the header was ceramic coated and it need to be tapped. Problem is there isn't any room for a tap in there.

Another issue is the header rubs on the crossmember once it heats up to operating temps.

I'm trying to find a place with a plasma cutter now that can trim the lip of the crossmember and save me the headache of removing the header. It's a PITA!
