Default unofficial rallycross in sc- feb 9th

Time to get your cars dirty again, well for the guys that will.. unofficial rallycross scheduled for February 9th 2013. New track layout, same piece of property in swansea not to far from columbia. We usually get started around 10-11 and run till dusk. its all for fun and a small bit of competition. Free for anyone who wants to come but I won't hate on any donations. Bring whatever kind of vehicle you like to have whatever kind of fun you want. we welcome riders for ones that want to come out and show off there car but don't want to get it dirty. if your nice i might even let you drive my car. i'd imagine its going to be pretty cold by then so not sure how big of a crowd we will have. i'm sure we will have a burn barrel or something going to keep us warm. I also have a friend coming out with one of those badass high speed cameras that shoot super slow mo. he works for some production company and is wanting to make a cool video, and hey super slow mo is always cool in dirt. If you would like to participate please either call/text me at 843 568 eight six 17 or email [email protected].

sorry the video might not show the amount of turns but that track had 10 turns with a tight s and 2 rather tight hairpin turns. right at about a mile in length.

its pretty much just grass and dirt. but throughout the day can get rutted. what i usually tell everyone else is take a ride with someone or drive it slow and see what you think. there is no pressure and you get to run it as many times as you want.

and we try to do them every few months but its really just whenever we get a weekend off to clean up and make it happen.

we also have a tractor with a flat blade that we take around every so often to keep it as flat as possible. I drive my car a little over an hour and all i have is an extra set of tires to make sure i get back home. we do have a garage area and some basic tools for the possible mishaps.

Kevin, as I said on FB I'm going to work on trying to get the rally car ready to go and play. I'll still be on medium tires and I need to make a few more tweaks to car, but I *should* be able to get it together in time.

It's going to be a long night tomorrow night!

Right now the date is the 26th. The guy that owns the property already had something else going on this weekend. I kinda like the idea of this weekend as well so we could beat the cold cold, but its not my land to make the decisions.
