SOLD: (Houston) 1991 Honda Accord EX 2.2l auto - GREAT LE MONS CAR! - $375 FIRM
1991 Honda Accord - Has a bad head gasket and ring in one cylinder, but it RUNS! Looking for $375 FIRM - Car can be picked up in NW Houston. Posting here before I open it up to others.
Body is actually very straight, good paint, sunroof doesn't leak, clean interior, with spoiler, good tires, new iridium plugs - Just needs some love to either make into a daily or a Le Mons car. PM me. Radio works too! Again, car DOES start and run...just smokes.

Be out a total of about a grand(including price of vehicle). You could rebuild the motor(head gaskets, re-ring it, and toss a water pump, t-belt and all the goodies) for around $500. Or get a junkyard motor for around $300 or so.
Either way, it's not a bad idea for a daily. Mika |

If it's not sold by the end of the week, it's going on Craigslist - This was a first dibs to TXIC guys sort of thing.

For reference, the HG on these SOHC honda's are stupid-easy to do. I remember doing it in 2 hours in the parking lot at a college for a friend with basic hand tools and a container for oil/coolant. Gasket sets are cheap too. Ring may just be stuck, de-carbonizing or soaking the cylinder while the head's off would probably cure it for quite a while.

Steve emailed him and set up a potential meet on Saturday AM (earliest the owner could meet), BUT he said the car may be sold by tonight...YMMV. We'll know by tomorrow I guess.

Miles don't matter if you take out the motor and frankenstein it. I have a $10 td04 laying in my garage too if anybody wants to go LeMons on it.
