Thumbs up Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru ROCKS!

2 days and they have fixed everything wrong with my car
no hard time, no questions...no circle jerk, like Lynnes

the window, cruise control, noisey driveshaft, noisey passenger door lock actuator, and the seat.

Im picking it up 2morrow

I think my next scooby will be bought from them

Jay

I got my WRX from the Bill Kolb dealership and from the start they have always been good. I have been shocked hearing some of the stories people have told of other dealerships

For repairs it's good to have a family owned subaru dealer only 20 minutes away.

bill kolb definitely rocks. They have 12 mechanics during the week and 5 on the weekends. fast and nice guys.

i drove by them on Sunday and took a walk around their lot even though it was closed. In the front, they're selling a WRX with the larger hood scoop, big STi exhaust, adjustable wing, and some other goodies for $24k. only thing was a ding on the front fender. if i only had 23,999 more dollars in my pocket...

Its in Orangeburg NY.

BUT I have had nothing but BAD experiences with them.

Story 1:

First I go ther looking for the car I want (GC* BRP 5mt Coupe) and they literally told me,"Nope, that car don't exist right now. The new models come out next month. But if you give us a deposit, we'll see what we can find.)

I tell them okay...I'll think about it. 3 days later and 10 phone calls to my house 5 to my cell, and 15 pages on my beeper, they keep telling me I need to get them $500 now before they will start to look.

So I say what the hell, give them the dep.

2 weeks no calls so I call them. They say"There are none out there in that color." So I say, okay....I'll take ANY color but it has to be 5mt coupe.

Another week no call. I call...they're still looking.

That same night I go on the web and find 3 BRP 5MT coups in a 100 mile radius. So I call them and tell them I'll fax over the name of the dealers and what they have.

They say, Okay, well look into it. 2 days and no calls.

So I call them and they tell me, "Nope.....those cars don't exist" and I knew they did because I called the dealers and spoke to them.

So I call one of them, they say no one even called here. So I gave them a dep. and pick up the car the next day.

It oly took 2 and a half weeks to get my dep. refunded by Kolb.

Story 2:

I see Kevin the service manager and tell him of my clutch woes at ont 20K miles. He say bring it on in an we'll replace it under warranty. I say, Cool....but I want to upgrade to a better stronger one. He tells me, you buy it and we'll put it in and the labor will under warranty. He also tells me while they have the car they'll do the brakes too.

I get my clutch, go see him and he tells me: Sure we'll put it in, it'll be 6.5 hours at $72 per hour and you sign a paper voiding your warranty.

No thanks. Okay...put a stock one in, so he tells me I will still have to pay for a new disk. I ask about the brakes and he tell me to pay for the pads.

Forget it all.

Yeah......thay are really good.

Tats.
