Default Q about front license plate of the WRX

well this might sound like a stupid question, but, on my WRX i know where the holes of the front license plate are, but it seems that from the factory they have painted over the holes so i cant put on my license plate.

just wanted to know if other WRXs are the same and did you guys drill a hole in the space provide?

Mine came with the holes pre-drilled.

The dealership should have done this, if you're required to have a front plate.

I don't see why the dealer would do a better job drilling those holes... if you get an appropriate self-taping screw, and drill just enough, ..... that should do the trick... there's no guarantee that the person who does it in the dealership doesn't drill too deep...

Actually, since the dealer has drilled thousands of them, I'd bet it will come out ok.

Default re

SubEd- Good point. Just saying, that if its something relatively easy and doesnt void something just do it yourself. Who knows what happens to your car when you are not around.

REMEMBER - NO ONE loves your Scooby like you do. .

I absolutely agree! They deal with dozens of cars a day, and couldn't care less about yours in particular.
