What the deuce? That doesn't appear to be the most efficient exhaust flow for a turbo.

Wow. that is ****ed. someone desperately wants to be Twin turbo'd i guess. and doesn't mind running 20 + feet of intake piping.
totally mental. but neat. |

With 90+% of the exhaust gases bypassing the turbo? Unless the "mufflers" are just casings and the exhaust is routed up into the turbos with tubing, then down out of the turbos and out the back of the mufflers. That would be pretty cool actually.

We did a rear turbo for a dodge magnum. some cars don't have space for turbo's in the engine bay or temps just get too high. With a big displacement engine the distance of piping doesn't really matter, little to no lag.

I remember that magnum. It was in the shop for the longest time waiting for em or something. Messed me up seeing the turbos almost at the tailpipes.

Yeah, but sounds badass, such a cool deep sound with the turbo whistle.
I think there was EM wait and then tranny compliance issues. |

Yeah it is, but usually ALL the exhaust gases go into spinning the turbo. In the pic it looks like only some of the gases go to the turbo, and most of it just exits the muffler bypassing the turbo.
I think that is the WTF part everyone is thinking. |

also its intake is hot exhaust gas. you would have to have some huge intercooler or something

i would speculate that the muffler is actually just a can and there is plumbing inside the case for the turbos to run properly. very neat and compact solution.

That's what it looks like, but it must have some pretty nasty bends in the piping to make that work
