Exactly. Mine will be used on dark empty snow covered blizzardy mountain passes where it's hard to tell what "lane" you're in. It will be awesome

I really don't get all the lighting mods. But whatever floats your boat!!

What? Those are 120 a pair. And you have to reto fit them into the fog light housing. I'm not trying to denfend my LED. Just pointing that out. If it were cheaper I would get the trail blazer fog lights.

I know some of you had installed HID kits already. Just curious, can you send pictures where you placed your ballast? I was trying to figure out a nice place where to zip tie it but just curious to where others had tied theirs down.

Post pictures if possible.

Thanks...

Sorry no pics but depend how hidden you want them. Some hide it under the head light. I hid mine under the metal bar directly behind the headlight.

Contemplating putting 15mm spacers, red muteki lugs, and red RA mudflaps on my white '12 4door. My current set up is 20% tint all around and '11 sti rims and tires. Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions? Total price would be around $280...I'm a broke college student so I don't want to pull the trigger on the purchases just yet without some fellow '12 model owners' input haha

Ok, eating my words already. Foggy as a mountain pass last night through Sausalito on the way into SF. Fogs worked great to get that extra road surface illumination.

So I got the grimmspeed license plate relocator, just wondering what do you guys think. Should I mount it closer to the fog light or farther. From the picture it looks like it's covering the fogs but it doesn't it's just the angle when I took the picture. I don't really like putting front plates but the CHP gave me a warning already and I don't like the hassle.

It's clearly NOT covering the fog lights and I don't see how anybody could think it was.

That being said, I like it!

Where did you get your painted plugs for the original holes?? I want some!

I don't like it, but my opinion isn't important. If you like it, then it's good.

I'd rather not have plates at all but I'm tired of being fix it tickets. Thanx for honest opinion though.

Excuse my ignorance; I don't know the laws in CA. Please explain what license plate positioning has to do with getting tickets.

What I meant is I had to put on my front plates and just wondering which position or angle looks better. I post the pictures which I'm having problems with my photo bucket account. One is more centered and the other is angled close to the fog light. Sorry if I confused you guys.

Looks good to me. I may try this as well. Illinois requires a front plate as well.

I like the second position, closer to the center.

I'm a bit confused. I talked to Grimmspeed a week ago and they said that the Sport Impreza relocater bracket wasn't out yet (and that the previous Impreza's wouldn't fit). So is the one you ordered for the 2011 Impreza? I think I like the positioning you have closer to the center. I live in Ohio and need a plate, too. I also got my plugs at Lowe's.

Nice! I was planning on getting one myself but then I plan on changing the design of the bumper. So maybe after that us done, I'll get one.

I'm not a big fan of the offset plate holder. The only car I would contemplate it are those with FMIC's like the EVO. It actually has a functional use in those applications.
