Recommendations for autoglass replacement in MA
I've got 3 eraser-head sized chips in my windshield, including a new one that's dead center in front of the driver now.
I'm hoping I can get the entire windshield replaced under insurance (I have full coverage) instead of trying to repair the chips, especially since the entire windshield is a glaring mine-field when driving into the sun. So I'm wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a company to do the work. The main thing I care about is them doing a good job so it doesn't leak and using quality glass.

3-4 windshields over the years here.
Giant Glass and JN Phillips have been perfectly fine. |

Anyone but Safe-Lite. They ruined the dashboard on my old GTI, and I had to get it replaced (on their dime, of course. $3k!).

Over a ton of years, I've had a dozen windshields replace by JN Phillips. Probably 2/3 of them either in my garage (hint....they'll do it in snow or rain in your garage). I tend to wait until I either fail inspection or am about to sell the car.....as rocks are always flying towards me. My fusion has 1 small ding and a huge star just under the pass side wiper. I'll wait......

JN phillips is fine, but it always depends who the person is and how good they are..that being said I'm with jack i usually wait till i fail inspection..currently i have about a 9" stress crack at the top of my windshield going past the rearview mirror

Hmm, Safelite is the preferred provider for MetLife, and I'm scheduled to have them put a new windshield in my Mini. I would use Giant or someone else but I have few reasons to believe any are better/worse than the others.
