Default 06 wrx exhausting wooshing/roaring+Not holding boost

Hi Guys.
I have a 06 wrx, 163k, Mods-AFE intake,Hks SSQV bov, tsudo catback( Open downpipe atm. ), Cobb AP.
With either the exhaust bolted up, or running open dp, When I start boosting, high rpm, my exhausts turns into a loud wooshing/roaring, rather than the subbie rumble as I hear on most subarus throughout the whole rpm.Whats making this loud wooshing? My rpm idles down to 750 on the AP, but 500-600 on my cluster. Right now I am running that AFE intake on the stage 1 ACN91 map. So I don't have a tune for the intake+ that refers to my previous thread which is apparently causing my DAM to drop to .6 most of the time, but when I datalogged it was at .25 http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2544322.
As well as my boost wont hold either, I took some videos but they aren't the greatest, I will get something together tomorrow.
Let me know what you guys think!
Thanks a lot
James

Your car is literally going to break/is broken already unless you fix whatever is causing DAM do drop to .6. Fix what is wrong with your tune, and then we can help point you in the right direction for the mechanical stuff. You need to actually do some work on your car, and fix obvious things or get someone to do it for you first before coming here and asking for help.

I bought a stock intake but don't have the intake tube, I can't see an intake causing my
Dam to drop though can it ? Am I still safe to drive ? What are some problems that cause the dam to drop. I've been doing research on research and can't find a whole lot.
Thanks !

Absolutely yes

Anything that causes excessive detonation, including (but not limited to)
Bad AFR (which can be caused by an untuned intake)
Bad gas
Aggressive tune
Overboosting

Adding this list: since someone was messing around in there.... loose nuts/bolts/parts/heatshields can also lower DAM by causing false knock

Well I live in Manitoba we don't have the best gas, so I just switched over to the acn91 tune. What's the boost level for that tune? I peaked 15.8 the odd time. I'd love to throw on the stock intake and go from there but I can't find a damn intake tube anywhere... As for loose nuts and bolts etc where's common places for this to happen?

Yea looks like your in limp mode and just barely holding on to your engine. Do not reset & assume everything is alright because your DAM went up again.

Heres a datalog yesterday using the stock intake, I borrowed my buddies intake tube to use with my airbox. After installing the intake do I need to reset ecu or anything before datalogging, because I just threw it on and ran a datalog.
I didn't end up going past 13.5psi, ive peaked 15.8 with the ACN91 Tune which im running right now.
My buddy just bought an 06 STI, we both cant figure out why my exhaust is making a loud wooshing under boost. Only under boost/Load, sitting in neutral it will sound normal.
Please let me know what you guys think I really want to get this sorted out.
Thanks!
