Every nitrous install I have seen has either mounted it on the drivers side, middle or in the spair tire well. I would mount it on the drivers side. Just crawl under the car and see whats under that area. I don't think there is much there.

Is it even legal to mount a bottle behind the driver's seat?

I want N20 so bad... but I need more things like an exhaust, boost controller, etc... lol (btw I'm near stock).

Hahaha. Is it legal to mount a bottle behind the driver's seat?
It's not even legal to have a full bottle of nitrous in your car even if it's not hooked up!

Depends on your local laws. I know for a fact that you can transport a full bottle to and from the racetrack, so long as it's not hooked up.

Most of the folks I have talked to have echoed the same sentiments in their areas as well.

Do remember, however, that you can still get in trouble even if you have an empty bottle and it's hooked up.

Nitrous laws vary by state. Contact your state's department of health to inquire about a permit to handle/transport nitrous oxide.
