Hey there again! I understand your new to the forum so I'm guessing you bought your sti with these modifications on it?

It SOUNDS to me like you have a boost leak or a bad intercooler coupler (or one that needs to be tightened

Check all of your couplers and make sure that they are tight

Also, remember to check the boost lines around the turbo for breaks/tears

- There could be quite a few other things that could cause rough idle, Let us know what progress you make with checking for leaks

Same here. i just adjusted it with the Cobb. No boost leak but im running really rich. My mpg are down to 19 and going lower when im just sitting there or i turn the car on to warm up. I just need a tune.

The MAF's are VERY TOUCHY on these cars. If you do not put it back to the correct location this will cause your car to not start. I've had this issue before also. Try to make sure everything is tight and in the correct location were it was before you cleaned it.

- If you cleaned it with anything other then MAF sensor cleaner... I would recommend picking up a bottle. At the worse case senero you will need to buy a new MAF on the forum if you used anything with alcohol in it or gas.

Try your idle air control valve. There's plenty of threads on it. You'll need a new gasket $6 at advanced auto. But like everyone else check for leaks. Especially pre turbo there's so many hoses to check. Also check your PCV. If you take it off be careful it should move freely pick some carb cleaner or maf cleaner I can't remember double check. Just spray in all the holes and shake it to get the crap out. I only suggest all this cause I'm dealing with this problem as well

IACV is right on top of the intake manifold before the intercooler

Just cleaned and replaced my IACV gasket moments ago... Having the same problem. Still low idle. Hoping it just needs to break in. Stay in touch if you fix or diagnose any problems

Could it just need a good tune? When was the last time it was tuned and was it someone reputable? Also, have you recently added an atmospheric BOV? Last question is, have you disconnected the battery recently?
