quick search question
its been driving me crazy, and im sure theres a very simple answer to this but im trying to search for cars for sale in michigan only. so i thought i would go to advanced search and just type in "mi", select title only, and under the specific forum of private cars for sale. and i was well aware that there might be mi for milage but that would be ok. whats annoying is that at the top of the results is a car post dated 9-28 and i know that there are a couple of cars that have been posted on today from michigan. so obviously the search is excluding tons of relevant results. i thought that one of the reasons that everyone was required to put a state in 2 letter format was for ease of recogition. what am i doing wrong? and i hope this is another stupid question that can be easily answered, thank you

Now I'm not saying there's not anything wrong with the search function here. But, did you try searching Michigan? Might've saved you this whole thread and headache.

Did you ever try autotrader and search around your local area code? With more and more dealers using autotrader it's easy to find most used and new subies in your area. That's how I found mine at a Chevy dealership of all places.
Just another option. Don't know if it has to be from nasioc. |

yes ive tried "michigan" and tried "MI:" and other variables, but logically "mi" or whatever other 2 letter state search under title only should give all results. and yes im searching everything from autotrader to craigslist too, this was just a question of how the search engine here was excluding results. and my 06 sti was from a pontiac dealer haha.

Check the regional for sale boards first then goto the general one.
