I am considering the brushed black 1080 for my interior, has anyone seen or applied this yet? Or even the brushed aluminum?

Wrapped some interior bits using the 3m anthracite carbon fiber vinyl. Ended up going a different route as it was more silver looking than I had hoped.

Nope its still the same as when i placed it on! From what a 3m dealer told me, it can withstand up to 200 degrees MAX, tried it out on a sample peice with a heat gun set at 300 degrees give or take and it toke the abuse! Then set the heat gun at 500 and it started to bubble up, so 200 is 3m's safe number, now this test was preformed when the vinyl was mounted on a flat surface. I do vehicle wraps for a living so i know what im taking about

Does the vinyl on the cluster hood reduce the glare at all?

I got oddly motivated last night and tore my car apart. I covered the door handle surrounds, handhold covers, forward center consol and head unit trim with a mix between matte black and carbon fiber. I will try to get pics up. It looks SOO much better with most of the ugly silver trim covered.

I have used the 3M DI-NOC before on a couple small projects and want to venture into my car. The interior door handles have scratched from abuse by the previous owner and I want to cover them. I tried a sample piece to see if I could get it to fit in the hole and had trouble. I had a heat gun, but no adhesive. It would rip trying to force it down and I couldn't logically work how to fill it in the bottom first and get it to lay flat in one piece on the top. Any pros have a suggestion on how to do it? It looks like a few people have trimmed it about 1/2 an inch in, but that wouldn't cover all of my scratches. I'll post a pic as soon as I figure out how...
