Default 2009 WRX on Display at X-Games

According to a new SOA press release at http://vocuspr.vocus.com/vocuspr30/N...5-c7372d70e329, the new 2009 "WRX will be on show at the Subaru display in the Sponsor's Village." If you go, you've got to promise to take pictures and post them here and you've got to find out what brand and model those "summer tires" are.

If I can still get in after work tonight, and they have the display set-up, I can check it in about 2 hours.

I'm in Hollywood/Burbank... where are the X-Games being held. I remember a few years back, it was at the Staple center and the Home Depot Center. If it's at the Staple center, I'll head over there tomorrow after work.

It's being held at both sites, mainly at the Home Depot Center. I've no idea where the 'Sponsors Village' is and the website, expn.com, is worthless. http://assets.espn.go.com/expn/XG14_spectatorguide.pdf

He tried to post a link to a .jpg picture on his C: drive. He needs to put the picture on a website like tinypic.com and then post a link to that copy.

Yeah, it seems I can't add a pic - it looked OK in the white box.. it was a pic of the display. How do people insert pics?

I guess someone else will post one today.

Sorry, fell asleep after work.

Or, how about you just tell us what the "summer" tires are?

Now we just need pics of the tires, turbo, struts, and some side pics of the hatch and sedan. Also after looking at the pics a lil more- I'm not too into the 2 tone with the white. I hated my 06's 2 tone big time and I can say I don't like this ones even more. I can imagine alot of people painting those white pieces which can be done and look factory(I did it to my 06 and it was done so good no one noticed cause it fit so well).

Where do you see white?
Are you color blind?

.... Make sure you're 100% right before making yourself look like a fool. Look at both interior pictures at the shifter base.... It was announced it would have 2 tone as well but it was much worse then I originally thought.

It's not white. It's some sort of metallic looking silver plastic.

...Splitting hairs aren't we? That's just as silly and childish as people saying cherry blossom red instead of pink. Even if it's not truly 100% white it's close enough to not like it.
