Default Ron Tonkin's $50 million private car collection

I had the luxury and good fortune of being able to view the private car collection of Ron Tonkin. Yes, he's still alive, something like 85 years old.
I think less than 100 members of the public have ever seen inside this building

There were about 16 Ferraris, 3 Lambos, few maseratis, 2 Ford GTs (original and new), etc. Check out the photos!

It's in an unmarked location near Wentworth Subaru.
It's unmarked for a reason

Ron has a nice collection (yes I've seen it), but there are a couple others in PDX that are better. Although one person has sold quite a few of his cars off. Fortunately he has a LaFerrari, Porsche 918, and likely a McLaren P1 coming. This is the same person who had the first STi in the PNW when they first came out. He picked up his F50 and STi on the same day.
The other person has a huge rally car collection in addition to his Porsche 959 and CGT.

I think the Monte Shelton collection is very nice, but its more well known.

Also there is a guy outside of Oregon City that has a stunning classic car collection (easily on par with Ron Tonkin's). Here are my photos of that show:

(only had a camera phone for it sadly)

He needs a better detailer, the buffer trails are awful I know someone who's good at that sort of thing :3

I'd be so nervous working on some of those older cars though, they're insane.

If I could afford all of those cars I wouldn't have a Subaru either.

Interesting that they are all dealer plated... I wonder if they are all technically "inventory" of Ron Tonkin GT

Yes. If nothing else, it's much easier for insurance purposes. A single "garage" policy covers everything and allows for inventory rotation.

Was lucky enough to be at an event there host by Ron Tonkin about a couple years ago. He walked us around to each car and told us the history that particular car.
Amazing collection.
Nice shots, thanks for sharing!

I was at the forest grove concours a number of years ago and Ron had his red Miura there. He fired that sucker up which drew a huge crowd. The sound of that thing is so awsome. A real treat for sure

Amazing....who says money can't buy love? Lived in PDX for 20 yrs and he drove by me on I5 once in that F50. Sounded so frickin' sweet, thought it was a bike coming up behind me before I saw it.
