It depends what your Looking for in the sub. The oem under the driver seat is enough if you want a more full sounding system, but it won't rattle your car like crazy or throw out sound waves into other cars

I have the OEM one in my car and it's suffice for me, i cranked the gain up so i wouldn't be using my speakers much as the bass; only the sub. That way i won't be blowing my speakers

I think I need to sit in your car and listen to your oem underseat amp/sub because I'm undecided now lol. I'm not sure whether the underseat amp/sub or upgrading my speakers will be the better option. I was planning on getting new speakers and an amp at some point so blegh idk.
Do you have any other audio goodies besides the amp/sub?

I have this 10in DVC (2ohm combined) Kicker sub in a very small sealed enclosure and it is amazing..
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_20609S1...C4.html?tp=111
Kicker Solo Classic 09S10C4
Can't believe it's only $99.. I paid $120 and it was on sale- Amazing ssubwoofer.

Takes up very little space but sounds like it's a very large encloser--
Sound Ordnance Bass Bunker
Sealed single 10" subwoofer enclosure (Model BB10-50S)
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_777BB10...er.html?tp=554

Anyone interested in a small sealed box needs to look at that combo-- I'm running 500 watts RMS 2ohm and it is more than enough to rattle my rear view off the car if I want (which I don't) I just use it for a nice seamless amount of accurate, deep, smooth bass.

Just buy an aftermarket one already!
With a little more power running through the stock speakers, they sound much much better!

Yup, nothing technical is stamped on there.

Any aftermarket replacement will be an improvement. I spent about $100-150 on my radio. I forgot exactly what it is but, I remember it being one of the cheapest double din radios on Crutchfield.com. With a little bit of tweaking of the EQ the sound quality is great compared to stock. It really brought out the low end and clearer highs.

Nah, only have the sub so far. I was thinking about upgrading the mid speakers and tweeters. The mid-high frequency are covered pretty well with the stocks, just the lows are missing. But my funds are going else where right now.

*cough* straight pipe and camera lens *cough* lol

Installed my Perrin short shifter adapter. I LOVE it. I haven't installed the bushings yet due to not having a bottle jack and wheel ramps at school. However even without the new bushings its already feeling 10x better.

Just arrived in the mail: 100% custom made Lathe Werks shift knob. I found a similar picture on the net from 2006 with Chris' name on it. Contacted him and threw him completely custom dimensions. Wrx tall piston, 4"x1.65" brass insert with shift boot retainer and fully knurled grip. I was inspired by the look of a WRC sequential shifter an wanted something a little taller than stock. Next to go in is the cobb double adjustable short throw to keep the height. Let me know what you think.

Lol, yep straight pipe. I'm just changing the midpipe to the end. But I'm keeping the cat and resonator.

I would love this kind of set up for my car. Curious as to how much it cost, since I don't own the tools or have the know-how to start this project.

I don't know what I should do to get them installed since I don't have my tools with me. I'm scared to go to just any performance shop.

The knob is made out of copolymer with a brass insert that spans nearly the hole interior of the knob including the boot retainer. It makes for just about the same weight at stock when I had both in my hands. But you would be seriously surprised how heavy the stocker is if you've never held it.

I drove with it today for about 50km and love it, never getting rid of this one.

The shift from second to third is awesome, tons of leverage and everything stays firmly planted across your whole palm. Super impressed.

I'll keep my eyes out for a kitchen scale to measure the exact weight.
