Does anyone have any info on 18" wheel offsets that will work on this car?

I tried searching the forums, and searching the whee/tire section to no avail. Then I tried creating a thread, which promptly got closed.

Default 2012 Impreza hitch

One of the many topics n news and rumors was about a hitch for the '12 Impreza We found the Curt 11120 did not quite fit from James Wilson2. Don't know about the HiddenHitch 60265 or Reese 77222. With a little grinding the Draw-Tite fit. His Yakima Rack needed to be modified to fit because the Draw-Tite was not deep enough. I am still waiting for some pics and measurements. Did the hatch clear the bike rack after mounted? Uhaul still doesn't have one but they will make one for free to an Impreza owner who is near their Arizona location after which we can all buy one. Personally I would just like to get the hitch and rack when buying the car like I did with the '03. I am hoping this will be available with the CrossTrek with light hook up as well because they will let this one tow.

Please share any experience you have. I can't be the only one who does not want to lift his bike up to the roof. There is no room up there anyways with our kayaks. (Like I am the only Subaru dressed like this...)

We did the drawtite on my friends. Forward rail holes needed to be widened to fit the hardware thru. The ends if the muffler (the seam where vertical meets horizontal) occasionally hit the hitch under certain rpms and its very loud. We used exhaust wrap around the hitch to fill the gap between the hitch and muffler and the metallic clanks are gone but there is a very deep drone from time to time. He'll probably replace it when one with no issues comes out but in the meantime he can use his hitch mounted bike rack.

The Draw-Tite fits but it rubs against the muffler periodically. Draw-Tite recommended bending the muffler hangers. Tuffy Muffler just inspected and said that would not help.

I started a thread in the wheel/tire thread to gather info about aftermarket wheel/tire fitment. So if you're rocking some new wheels, or plan to be come spring, feel free to check it out. Hoping it will be a good resource for everyone.

Been searching on eBay and craigslist for a while now and haven't found anything much in terms of performance parts for the new 2012 impreza.

I think performance-wise, I'll just enjoy the thrifty economy of the stock setup. When the things paid off I'm pondering a swap. Maybe see if a 2.5 fb from a Legacy or Outback would swap in easily. Or a BRZ motor with a wrx 5mt...

Does anyone know if there are any springs out there yet for the '12 Impreza? I've tried searching, but so far found nothing.

And I agree payoff is my priority too. But honestly the great mpg's I'm getting are making the payments easier.
I do think this would be an excellent car to mod some once its paid off and the warranty expires. I can see a range of engine swaps out there. Upgrading is fun and you dont have to insure a WRX!

I was so close to buying a WRX; however, insurance and gas prices deterred me from doing so. Maybe I might regret this down the line but at this point it time I'm very pleased with my Subie, I was driving a 2005 Nissan Sentra before this, so its a big difference.

I would think that maybe the Tein S.Techs might fit? Totally unsure though.

For those asking for wheels. I don't know about the other 17's but I know the Grey "Snowflakes" from the sports are 17x7 48mm offset.

Here's a great tool for figuring out how different wheel/tire combos will differ from your OEM setup

At least the 2007 Sentra is better than my 05 in every way, new design, bigger engine, it actually has a tachometer, and its more spacious than my 05.

My 94 sentra was actually a much better car than the 07'.
In the next few years these tuner guys will have swapped all sorts of boxers in, so once I've got a couple hundred thou on the odo, I think this would be a fun car to mod.

Well I think the entry Nissans are crap. Yeah I can't wait to mod my Impreza too but mine would be on the conservative side though.

I have a 2012 Impreza 5 door wagon and am itching to mod it. So far I have 20% tint all around except for the windshield, almost a full LED conversion in and out with the exception of the DRL's. I have added the LED reflectors to the rear bumper and wired them up with the brake lights. I have a VG Sharkfin Antenna on order, plasti-dipped the front grill, added Hella supertones with the blue powder coated surround. Plans are to add a Kartboy or Cobb short shifter. I'm leaning towards the Cobb because of it's adjust-ability. When UEL headers from rallisport racing become available, I plan on getting a set to have the boxer rumble. I need to get under the car and take some pics and measurements since it might be possible that the existing ones for the 2.5i might bolt up with little to no modifications. Rally armor mud flaps are also planned. They should be released soon. Rear roof spoiler and front lip spoiler are also planned when less expensive versions come out. Stabilizer bars and end links should carry over from the 08+ WRX. A few other dress up items like JPM Coachworks shift boot and e-brake boot, different lugnuts, license plate delete are also planned.

Pictures of that tint and how those supertones look on the car. Thinking about doing that to my car for starters.
