Whats up all.

Yeah no doubt, I am out of the country, when I get back soon I will have new wheels, (Getting Jonnys Works for now), a new fender pull and a few moar pictures. I will even get some pics of jonny's new fly BMW to post up lol.

SWP you can run 18x9.5 38 very easily, you just have to run a for example 225/40 federal or falken 512 in some of the older rolling shots you will see that is what Jonny runs, he also ran I think 5mm spacers in the back because the rim would sometimes bang against the inside of the wheel well. I was running +35 with 5mm spacers on all 4 wheels for those pictures above.

i'm on 18x9.5 +30 with 235/40/18 and with 3 people total, the ride is NOT bad. (front rolled+slight pull, rears shaved)

i'm actually thinking of selling my set and running something a tad bit smaller on 225/40's... so if anyone wants a mint set of privat akzent wrapped in almost brand new ziex 912's... let me know :P

^ yeah true, if your not trying to go super low you can run 235 or maybe 245 before it starts to look mexi flush, because of these damn stupid narrow bodies lol. Also depends on tire brand.

How did you pull your fenders clipse, I talked to BC and I am going to order a new set of coils that will let me drop more, basically trying to put this car 1 inch off the ground lol, gonna need to pull.

basically i think these wheels look a little small for the car and I'm wanting to go with a wheel that will look bigger... basically anything thats grey and a 18x8 or so because these wheels are 18x7.5 and don't look to aggressive either... just wondering if they look weird on the car
and i was thinking something along these lines
http://www.xxrwheels.com/xxr_527.shtml#
http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=6537
http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=6584

I'm still trying to find a wheel to set the car off my budget is 1200.. anyone knw any website that has tons of wheels on it I've looked basically every where and can't seem to find much. Thanks, Phil
Personally I like the look of white with black, not a huge fan of white with plain silver

I think you should hop over to 3gwrx n pick up the last set of 18x9.5 Rpf1s in sbc from the dezod motorsport group buy... They might be a little over your budget but they would look sexy!!

Also idk if they will make other colors but the Xxr 530 coming soon would be on my list if I were u 2

Yea I would agree It will look good both ways but white and gunmetal is what I personally like the most and I think the rpf1 looks a little weird on the white. But the black on that has the 18" sbc rpf1's looks bad ass

Alright cool because I'm trying to put a wide wheel on the car. I got tired of the way the little thin tires looked haha. Will I have to roll my fenders?

ahhh you're getting the 'extreme low' BC's. **** they asked me if i wanted to get that version with the shorter spring but i opted for the normal BC BRs... now the bottom of my shock is almost sitting on my cv boot and im barely tucking tire on 235/40. should've got the extreme low bc coils when i had the chance sigh

the guy who did my fenders (he's actually pretty famous here in socal and rolls everyones fenders, he did sosowrx's. AWDalbert here on nasioc), instead of just rolling the fender lip flat, heated up the fender so it was malleable and pulled them slightly more in the front where all the turning is done. very happy, i dont rub at ALL in the fronts even on full lock. rears... are another story

edit: here's the post on my fender roll on his blog.

http://awdfitted.blogspot.com/2011/0...sh-wheels.html

you can see the slight pull on the fender where it meets the front bumper.

Ah yea I hear you. Yes, nlmotoring.com has the preordering going on and have the specs up. In widths above 18x7.5 they have 18x8.75 +20 and +35 and 18x9.75 +20 for our cars.

I just wish I could find the exact wheel just more aggressive

If I bought the same wheel but in a 35 offset instead of 42 would that increase lip size and give me a more aggressive stance?

Are you refering to your current wheels?? 7mm will move the wheel about a quarter of an inch closer 2 the fender if I'm not mistaken... I'm not sure that your going to get the aggressive look your looking for from that... Wider wheels and lower offset will get u bigger lips or more concaveness

CLIPSE,

I already have the BC extreme drop kit. I am talking to them about building something shorter for more low. If it is a whole set of coils and not components I will sell you those ^^^^, they have less than 400 miles on them lol.

Also, when you rolled and pulled your fronts what did you do about your fender liners, they seem to want to fall out of my car as it is right now.

SWP,

Yeah true, if you have that same size rim with a different offset or even those wheels with spacers it will still most likely look sunk in at the top of the wheels and not have that same flush look as wider wheels. Just do what you want to do and feel like you need to do, stance your car, you won't regret it even when you are banging frame and shooting sparks from your exhaust like I do.

hmm perhaps... ;D we shall see. as far as the fender liners, awdalbert sheered a portion of them off to keep them from coming down and rubbing on your wheels. you dont really need them

lol might as well get xxr 527's at nearly half the cost pretty similar wheel, only things rota has goin for them is the better sizing (the xxr 527 in 18x9.75 +20 look fking absurd on our narrow body 08-10's) and the option for titanium chrome

rota t2r 18x9.5 +38

vs.

xxr 527 18x8.5 +35/+20

you be the judge
