Agreed, that looks pretty damn good for a garage job.

With that red color, and without the grille installed, it looks like a classic Alfa Romeo.

Thanks Patrick. Lots of hrs put into sanding. The final product shows. Very happy with it, giving it was only 40 degrees out.

Cool, without bumpers would look nicer though. Maybe make some shorter thinner 1/4 inch aluminium ones?

Good eye bratman. I have to pull it back in to place because its a little off. I wanted it on so I can see how far to correct the bumper brackets.

I finished putting back in the interior. Starting to feel like car again. On a side note, it always feels like a rocket on rails.......

Freaking sweet...I'm in the process of getting mine apart to start putting it all back together. If that makes any sense.

Definitely a labor of love with the brats. Parts are a pain and expensive let alone finding them. But the finished product will always bring you smiles.

This is great! I realise this thread is probably dead, but this is the only AWD 5 speed swap I can find anywhere. You wouldn't happen to have a detailed write up about this would you? Would love to read about that suspension change as well as the custom tunnel you had to made, and tranny mount/rear end. Have a full outback donor car, just don't want to go in blind. Thanks!

SubiBratz hasn't logged into the site in almost 2 years, so I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a response.
