cool for you, bad for me...
Just kidding.. I could learn something from you, I am sure. So, sounds like you may need to attend the NHIS SCCA event on July 23, if you want the jacket. I hope to see you there... Paul G.

No I don't.
Too far away for me. It's about 4 to 4.5 hours away. So if we're tied, and there's 3 events left, 2 of them nearer to where I live, guess where I'm going to be, or not be. Sorry, it's just too far away. You just need to come to Devens. About STS, I love competition, and there's this red Iroc Daytona in that class... --KC |

Is he the kid who is a "jerk".
I think I worked the corner with him at NHIS. I thought I talked alot! (at least when I speak, it is not a bunch of BS). I think Kris was a tenth of a second off the daytona kids best time at the Nationals, so he is going to co-drive my car in STS at NHIS. With the springs/5-speed/20mm bar/ exhaust/amosil filter/, he sould be all set. As long as we can handle RE92's with 16K on them. There is some competiton for ya.. Come on... 4 hrs is nothing in an RS. You can spank some new people, instead of the same Devens crowd. Paul G. |

Paul & KC,
You talking about the guy with the red Daytona IROC? He will not shut up, and he knows NOTHING! I was so happy at the last FCSCC event because he was up at Devens for the SCCA event and I didn't have to listen to him babble on about all the crap he doesn't know. And of course every time I compete against him I win EDIT: for typos [This message has been edited by Pilot (edited June 19, 2000).] |

STS Here I come?
Well, just got the 1st 1/2 shipment in of my Z rated Kumho 712's. The other 1/2 should be here tomorrow or Wed. (Split Shipment)
They'll be on the car this weekend. Next SCCA event isn't until the end of July, so I'll be able to break in these tires pretty well b4 the next event. Finally get rid of these bridgerocks. STS or STR? Tough choice. STR doesn't have the competition, but I would like the Jacket. I'll just have to watch the points for the class. Currently the NER SCCA has only 5 events posted for times (Missing the June 4th event). I have 3 Wins in STR and the Ford Probe has at least 2 (3 if he was at the June 4th event). So right now, we are tied, with 2 or 3 events left. I'll bring the race tires, if he's not going to show, I'm going to do STS. (Insert Evil Laughter Here) --KC |

At this time, I would like to mention I did not disparage the driver of the Red Daytona Iroc....Infer all you want tho.
Fitz, the only tires I'm replacing at this time are the Bridgrocks RE 92's. Why? One of them had a patch and a plug in it, that was one of the reasons pushing me to get 4 new tires. Coupled with the fact that the RE92's suck, a patch decreasess the speed rating and you can nevert get a consistent balance out of them. Patches are meant to be only a temporary solution. So instead of paying 130+shipping for a really crappy tire, I got 4 shipped for 300 bux. People have been saying these are decent tires, we'll see. These tires do absolutely nothing at protecting from crap in the road. And I don't drive on the shoulder or through parking lots and I have been noted to drive like a grandpa on the highway. I just want tires that I don't have to worry about losing the patches and blowing them out while I'm doing 80 on my exit ramp near my house. (Well 80 is quite an exaggeration, but you get my point .... see grandpa reference above). If you want the other 3 tires, 20 bucks each and they're yours. (They still have decent tread left on them). The one with the patch and the plug I wouldn't wish on my some of my worst enemies). What's a Daytona Irocs tire size? --KC |

I have "no comment" about that guy.
Just to set the record books straight - half a second off of the Iroc - 4/100ths of a second off the ACR Neon. Standing in grid at the "National Tour" Iroc - "Hey Slushbox, what'd you get??" Me - "50.16, and you?" Iroc - "49.5 But, I wasn't really trying..." Me - "Rrrrriiiiiigggghhhhtt." Hee hee - Paul and I are going to whup'his'ass. |
