Default Is there a way to tell if I have synthetic in my motor now?

The R32 requires it, but I don't trust the dealership to have installed it when they took the car in.

Burn a sampe. They also smell quite different when burnt. Synthetic smells a little more like burnt popcorn or something.

Hey, Layman, check into buying GC (German Castrol) 0w30 for your beast there. It is probably as good as you'd get for that car.
