Default Question about the stock 89-94 Legacy N/A header

ok so heres my setup im working on.....

2.5l phase 1 block
2.2l phase 1 heads from my 91 legacy
Delta 1k grind cams

With that setup i should be around 11-5-1 compression and from a few shops ive been told id be between 180-200 chp.

So now my ? is are the stock 89-94 header from my car unequal length ?....i would upgrade but im broke and ill do that as soon as possible.

I have a 'frankenmotor' set-up myself. 2.2l phase 1 heads with Delta Cams on a new 2.5l STi shortblock. I use the Cobb EQUAL length headers that are JetHot coated w/ the Random Hi-flow Cat. I suggest you locate the OBX knock-offs on EGhay as Cobb no longer makes the headers I have anymore.
BTW, You'll love the torque and the fact that it pulls all the way to redline

Hey 97Gtguy

You stock legacy manifold should look like this :

or similar the resonator and mufflers quiet it down a lot.

If you reuse your stock manifold and rid the system of the noise dampening components you might get some rumble out out it. I rode past a beat up 94 Legacy L wagon on I-66 that sounded just like a WRX (I could see the the tail pipe had rusted off)

If you go with the OBX/TWE EL knock offs you wont have any rumble just honda like sound.
