Hey guys, just got my new car today! Wanted to post a few quick shots I got of it before it got dark out. More to come tomorrow after I get the tint job on it.

I have to admit I haven't been babying it lol and am going with a more medium hard break in because it's to fun to not...

Here is one right off the truck with plastic still on.

More to come tomorrow after tint!

Very nice, how much did you pay? Also go for a 20% front/5% rear tint setup. I have 20% all around and do regret not getting the rear darker

Exactly, I have an approximately 100 mile commute to work and back each day. I also may do a bit of driving around the state for work as well. I put a lot of miles/time driving every day.

I agree, please post pics of the tint. I'm getting mine on the 16th. As of now going 20 % all the way around. Ohio law is a max of 50% in the front, and then whatever you want on the rears. I am a little concerned about doing 20% in the front.

Thank you all! Appreciate the warm comments. I really really like the front end of these new cars. I will get a pic up of the close up rims as soon as possible.

here is the tint. I stayed maryland legal and went 35% all around. I guess I wish I would have gone a little darker but don't feel like dealing with the police..

This shot makes it look a little darker than it is but it still is pretty sweet.

I went with 20% tint and have never been questioned. Then again, I have an actual "wagon", so I doubt I'll ever have issues.

Just to let you know, your 35% is still technically illegal, since there's about a 80-85% level in the factory glass, so if you get pulled over and they check, you'll fail. I've heard of people failing with 40 and 45% tint according to the police meter. The installer said my 40% was 36% but I still was required to sign the disclosure that it wasn't legal, since the meters the officers use seem to be a bit on the lower end of calibration.

Hopefully, they'll be as laissez faire with you in your area as they seem to be with enforcement in mine.

Looks good btw, I love my OPB too. Where are you in MD?

Thanks guys. Rico the shop I went to showed me that the tint is regulated to take into account for factory tint so that it keeps you legal. I don't for see having any problems. I'm in the Rockville area.

Oh OK, so the shop probably used 40% then. I hear you on the issue of not wanting to be harrassed by cops, I'm too old for that.

I do miss the 20% I used to have on my 3G Prelude. It was 27% in SC though, so everyone had dark windows anyways.

I feel ya man. I think it was 38% to account for factory tint.. I was a little jealous seeing a sweet car with 20% before me but like you said, it's not worth the harassment to me.

Worst case scenario you get a ticket and have to fix it, right? Worth the risk to me to have the tint I want.

I have a conceal carry too. I bet the cops are going to love pulling me over
