Chris Johnson.... I think he should come around this game as well. Again was thinking Matthews > CJ because Matthews is more proven this season and I think Tolbert is definitely on the offensive back burner in the charger's scheme. Just my thinking. Thoughts? |

the only thing i can think of that is in favor of Meachem..is that he has a TD in every game this year! So i would have to lean towards him

Moore, Branch or LT at my flex spot? Thinking LT is a no because of the match up at BAL, but Branch and Moore have great match ups (@OAK and @JAX). Does NO continue to throw once they get up? Seems like they've just been in shoot outs all year, at least the NE/OAK game will be a close shoot out.
Other option is benching Lloyd or Harvin and playing them both. |

Yah thats tough. I would still roll with Steve Smith over hester.
Steve smith is #1 WR in Carolina, Hester is # 2 or 3 in depth ? I think knox, sanzenbacher get more looks than hester. |

Our defense has been playing OK the year too, and although they play a bend-don't-break defense and don't give up the deep plays, they will make Cam throw the ball around more. If the defensive line (read Julius Peppers) plays well this week, it might be tough for Newton to get the ball to Smith. I would still take this over Cutler getting sacked every time he drops back to try to pass. Can I finally unload Thomas Jones? He's been sitting on my bench and doing almost nothing scoring-wise. I have Matt Forte and Willis McGahee starting, and Benson (suspended?), Jones and Roy Helu. Johnathan Stewart and Micheal Bush are out there. Considering scooping up one of them instead. i'm going to start marshawn lynch this weekend in my flex spot. no other running backs to choose, they're playing ATL whio hasn't been gret against the rush, and my other options are massaquoi or hester in that spot.

Anything fantasy gurus? By the way, Dez Bryant just got dropped too. Not sure I want Miles Austin and Dez playing the same day...Nicks has been chocking lately though. |

On the other hand you have Chris Johnson. I bet half the people that read this thread can't even name his back-up off the top of their heads. He's a better back, and an every down back. They will be forced to run against CLE and CJ vowed to fix his run game on twitter Sunday. I said he would absolutely suck for the first few weeks from holding out. You picked him in the first round so you should play him if he's healthy. As far as Wayne/Washington goes, you'll most likely get the same points out of either. Wayne has more upside now that someone who knows the Colts system will be taking snaps. Anyone is an improvement over Collins. What I most certainly wouldn't do is play 2 players on the same team that has trouble finding the end-zone as it is: Titans. |

The strategy on the byes is definitely try to get it all out of the way at once...you know you will lost that one week, where everyone else will be scrambling week after week to replace key guys. It's tough to do, but if you can do it so that most of your team has the same bye week it's a nice advantage...

I'm with you there but I can only hold one QB at a time, just wondering what the consensus is on dropping Ryan and picking up Flacco(with the chance of losing Ryan altogether). |

You also have a good point about starting Washington AND CJ. I can definitely see how the Titans would have to run seeing as the browns are good vs the pass, meaning Washington's numbers will go down. AS for Wayne and anyone being better than Collins, while it is true that Collins sucks, I think that Wayne is the go to guy on that offense so everything goes through him essentially. I will plan on starting him over Branch and Washington. CJ and Forte it is. I knew he would be bad in the first few weeks but by bad I was thinking week 1: dud week 2 and 3 75-100 yards + no score + passing yards. Here's to a breakout (aka, normal numbers) for CJ. Any thoughts regarding picking up (starting?) Santana Moss this week against STL's atrocious pass D? Last edited by ScionPower; 09-28-2011 at 03:53 PM. |

Vick or Stafford?
Stafford has been money this season and this wouldn't even be a question if Vick were facing a better team. However, I have a feeling he's going to be running circles around the '9ers all day long. I'm torn. Stafford has been great and consistent, but I feel Vick has a higher upside here, provided he plays the entire game. |

I'd start Stafford over Vick even if Vick was 100%.

and Benson is starting this week. Word won't be handed down about his appeal this week so he's in.
Foster officially has his starting job back as of today too. |

I drafted him in one league and start him pretty much every week. This week should be his best match-up so far. Only concern is his lack of targets: 6-9 most likely. I'd think a TD and 80+ yds is more than realistic. Much more realistic than Nate Washington doing much against Joe Haden.

I'm not sure I want Julio Jones back.
Meachem is the only guy I don't really "need" and I know he may or should be getting less touches as the season goes on. For some reason I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger, it must be too hard to see the fortunes changing that much for me. heheheh, I want ten or twelve team leagues back. So much more cut and dry. |

I was just offered:
Starks, Law Firm, & Colston for Forte. I obviously laughed and sent back this: Forte/Holmes for Mathews/Jackson. He hasn't refused it yet.... Quote:
