My JDM reverse light plasmas came in on Monday. I'm waiting for my turn signals to arrive before installing, but plan on seeing if they will fit in at least the rear side marker slots that I have amazon $2.99 specials in now.

+$200, not sure if that was with coating or without. That was just a quote "from scratch" and I can imagine it would have ended costing a bit more. I was originally trying to work with a BRZ axleback that was sent to him, but the idea was scrapped due to a lot of modification needing to be done. He actually gave me what I paid for it and kept it for his own experimentation.

Wish I had some sort of local connection for this sort of thing.

have you guys changed out reverse lights into something that actually looks bright BUT also outputs?

i have LEDs in mine and they look great, like a super bright square when i back up, however, it doesn't actually help me see. i don't really care, but if there was an option to put something in that looked good and worked, i would buy it.

i saw the LED bulbs that have the leds on the sides, as well as a projector on the end ... wondering if any of you guys tried those.

also, is the plasma bulb from jdmtoy the brightest you guys have seen that fits? (i don't like anything above 6k, but at 5-6k is fine)
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/mobile/Prod...ode=T15_SKU326

lastly, i put yellow overlays on my fogs, and then i put a regular white LED bulb in, hoping that it would look yellow when on. well, instead, it gives it a light yellow with a green tint look. did any of you achieve yellow fogs using just a bulb? i wasn't able to find a yellow bulb. i only found amber LED bulbs for the fogs.

I have the jdmtoy led lights in my reverse lights and they're definitely better and brighter than stock. I don't know how bright you're looking for, but think about how low your reverse lights are compared to how high your visibility in the back is. You're not going to find lights that are as bright and allow you to see as much as your headlights behind you. As for the fogs, are you serious??? You couldn't find yellow bulbs?!?! You didn't look very hard then! Ditch the led's for fogs unless you're going strictly for look.

yeah, what do i search for to get the yellow fogs? the sylvania guide tells me they are "2504" bulbs, right? (it also says 9006, but after look at images of the 9006, i'm pretty sure those are not the right ones). i did a google search for 2504 yellow bulbs but couldn't find any...

and since you're on, would you happen to know if i can put an LED 9005 bulb into my DRLs? I don't ever use the high beam, but I don't know what that would do... what if I put a 9005 LED bulb in, and then flicked my high beam?

Since they're 9005 LED high beams, I would have to assume they would come on just like halogen 9005's.

I have LED's in my fogs. They come on just like halogen fogs. They're just not very bright. They sure do look better than the stock bulbs though.

I plan on doing the H11 fog conversion come spring.

Wow, your car looks awesome. I guess the size of the tips depends from person to person. My car is not highly modified like yours so, I think it would just look funny. Did you cut the plastic all the way through the bottom? Do you have a close up from the bottom? if I may ask.

I basically have what Dijm8 has, but on only the right side. I don't have duals. I had them try a few different size tips, and the smaller ones just looked weird.

Anyone know a good spot to tap into for lighting under the dash or under the hood? I have some led strips from my quadcopter that will work great and ideally want to tie into the dome light's circuit

I imagine you run that much negitive camber because of the ride height...or visa versa. You must get about 2K miles out of a set fo rear tires, and I know the handling of the car constantly detereorites the whole time. There is low and slow...and low and fast. I personally prefer the latter.

Love the exhaust, just not a fan of the stance.

Only 1/2 your tire touches the ground!

someone should make special tires that have a smaller inner sidewall for the extreme negative camber setup...

I know when the Nitto Neo-Gen came out it was touted as being "optimized" for lowered vehicles. Not sure how. But that'll probably be next.

that rear tire probably has less than 500 miles on it, and it's already showimg different wear patterns inside to outside. Soon, you'll start to get excessive "tramlining", the car will follow every crack and expansion joint in the road. Handling will rapidly deteriorite, but you'll still look cool...right up until the tire EXPLODES.
I can only imagine what the steering axle looks like. It's a cool look, but not safe, or sustainable.

If your just too low...can't get the right parts to get the alignment specs anywhere near acceptable, well then you have to decide. If you are simply chasing the "look", then your good. If your chasing the max on road handling performance the impreza can have, then you need to re-evaluate your ride height.

I've seen many go down this path...albiet with a different platform. Vanity is a cruel bitch, and you alone suffer the consequences. A high quality handling car returns benefits every time you get behind the wheel...but not every one who witnesses those drives, appreciates what you have done.

A simple and slight bump up in ride height...might bring the car back to a more driver friendly status...I don't know. From other experiences I can honestly tell you, a well balanced, properly aligned, performance tire eqpt car...can reap rewards for the driver every mile. That my friend is infinately more important to me, than what any stranger thinks of my ride.

just saying................

Kudos on that thought. I made a decision where if the part I am installing on my car doesn't serve a purpose, it doesn't belong to my car. Never less I would like to show respect for those who just beautify their rides. Chamber does serve a purpose, it was meant to be adjusted for specific track and increase handling performance, but my car doesn't go to the track, just my two cents.

Word. Just had the same thing happen. 6 days to ship roughly 3 hours away. I would have saved money if I just delivered it myself. It's no surprise the USPS is going broke.
