Nah, she's not interested in driving events and that's cool. We have different interests as well as similar ones. She went to watch the movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic" today with girlfriends....I was at Library Square watching the Canucks game drinking beer with the guys. Perfect.

wow, I don't go on nasioc for 2days and i'm so behind....
this thread is entertaining

Chris and I are postponing the Valentine's stuff for next weekend, or until I can eat real food again
He has been pretty much just taking care of me all weekend, listening to my whining

I had a whole Valentine's dinner planned out that I was gonna make for him, but then I had to get my wisdom teeth done.
I think we made protein shakes and ate congee on Valentine's

Making Dinner > Going out!
for special occasions at least, it's more personal.
I love going out to try new restaurants though, especially here in Vancouver there are sooooo many good restaurants/chefs that are so underrated.

Oh man, you put that in writing , I hope Loomin copies this thread to a USB key or something for future use

but on a side note, yes cooking at home is far more personal and great, but going out to dinner can be just as nice, my wife and I went to the same restaurant we celebrate random (birthday/anny/valen) events at each year and it's always perfect. We only go 1 or 2 times a year, keeps it special and NEVER a bad meal.

and one more early reso's FTW stayed from 5 till 8 and caught a beautiful sunset

lol yeah we totally were!
it was impossible to find parking, we circled around at least 4-5 times.
saturday night + valentine's day + robson = ftl....

We were meeting my parents for food.
Hon's congee sucks, so watery
Their other food is pretty good though, then again, we know the manager there

you single guys are approaching valentines day all wrong. Go out to a club or something, there are tons of single chicks (usually the low self esteem ones) that are feeling sorry for themselves for being single, have had a few too many, and are SUCH an easy take-down. It's like fishing with dynamite out there.

Unfortunately, the guy to girl ratio on days like vday is just way too high. Too many guys out sarging on the same night. Plus, with the shootings lately, clubbing isn't on the top of the priority list
