Well, I'm wondering how many more guys will show up from here.
My question is where exactly where we're all going to go as is. Waiting for another return (they called me, but I wasn't home) call now from Mohawk Mtn, and a call from Kent Falls. Not even sure how many will want to go for a drive up that way. I'm guessing most of the group though!

I honestly don't mind if you want to invite them down This is going to be a seriously large meet, and everyone is welcome.

How many guys do you think would show up from the Maxima group?

In all reality, the number of people that show up Saturday will decide what I do for next year. I am glad vendors are going to be here... As next year I will be looking for sponsorship to make something bigger and better. So by those terms, the more that show the better.

Worst case - we can find a large lot to hang out in. Like the one on the end of Mill plain road, where the starbucks is. Or the lot near AutoZone in Brookfield. Or there is a huge lot down rt 37 in New fairfield, where the supermarket use to be, I dunno though if the cops will bug us while we are there.

Just some Ideas

Not sure where the first two locations are. I did however call the New Fairfield PD, and spoke to somebody down there. She said that parking lot isn't available anymore as construction is going on to put in a SHAWS. Otherwise it would not have been a problem. She thinks the Danbury Highscool would be a good spot. I asked her who I should call, and she said give the Superintendent a call. heh, I never thought years after highschool I'd be calling up a superintendent to ask if I can park at a school! I just left a message, and am waiting for a return call. Anyway, I will post that update as I have it.

Anyway, I'm really excited about this meet. I didn't think it would get so big. Get to meet a huge group of new people at that! WOOT!

Anyway, that's the news!

Mill plain road is Exit 4 I think off of i-84. Its where stop&shop and the WSCU is located on. Towards the end there is a big lot with a few stores, one being starbucks. Mill plain turns into rt-22 into Brewster NY.

The other is on federal Road, where Kohls is, Old Caldors building.

Actually come to think of it, there is also the parking lot in front of Bob Clothing stores, right near Stews market. Thats should hold 100 or so cars

But federal road will draw some attention.

Is it over?!?

OK, I just called the Parks and Rec. Department of Danbury, who suggested a few placed. I contacted one of them, Hawley Construction about using the old DMV building. That was a no go, but the woman suggested calling Chamber of Commerce. So, I called them who gave me a list of people to contact! THANK YOU! So, I called up the first one, Western Connecticut University to see if we could use their parking. Answering machine. Alright, so I called one of the parks, who suggested using the PALU Center. SO called about that, and they suggested using the commuter parking lot down torwards Rt.7 south from Marcus Dairy.

SO! If anyone from Danbury knows about that, let me know! There was mention of a Commuter parkinglot off of Exit 2? Is that the same one? There is also some large commuter parking lot headed torwards Norwalk.

Anyways, I've been on the phone for a while now trying to get this last minute detail together! Looks like we might be in luck!

If any of you know about the commuter parkinglots mentions, let me know!
If they're good, I'll drop a note to the Danbury PD, let them know what is going on so we won't have a problem.

So far, looks like we'll be OK.

Yeah, I sent a little note off to Pruven. I don't know if anyone on the list already is from Pruven, but I figured I'd send them an invite anyways.

Oh, we'll definately be meeting over at Marcus Dairy at noon.

I'll do name tags, people can talk, etc. We'll break into groups for lunch then.

After lunch, looks like the commuter parkinglot as soon as somebody from the area can confirm that parkinglot. Apparently it's wide open on the weekends.

So, should be good.

Some details might be coming up thanks to Jay. I'll know tomorrow! Hopefully it will work out

Anyone know where I can pick up a Burger King crown to give Jay, so everyone can call him King Jay?

I dont remember how big the parking lot is by RT 7. I dont know if it will hold 100+ people. But its really down the road from Marcus.

There is also the parking lot in front of Candlewood lake, but it might be already packed from the PA building and lake goers.

Danbury High also has a large lot, but you'll prob need promission for this event.

There is also the sports authority lot down the road from Marcus.

Or the danbury airport, lol but I think you need to have ground clearence. haha

Any business parkinglot, we'll be kicked out of faster than you can park. I have experience with it. It sucks! Not even causing trouble.

School parkinglot, yes... Permission is needed. I left a message with the Superintendent, and may hear back.

Lots of events at parks, and I was told it would be pointless, unless we found parking along the street for the parks, but would be unlikely. I have ZERO intention on parking along a street.

Airport would be a great idea if anyone has an extremely high aluminum wing. That might be all we need to get landing permission!

And Jay, the BK Crown was the best thing I could think for the moment. Would you prefer a tiara instead?
You know I'll whore you out!

So ladies, this man, Jay with an '04 WRX + Stage 2 can be yours for a low cost of $10,000 a month! Is he worth that much? Of course he is!

Shhh! Jay! You'll get $2,000 of that per month! Imagine the upgrades you could have every month!

Sounds like a good plan to me!

I know a few guys want to come later in the day. So, the longer we can hold this meet, the better!
