My 2011 WRX headlights are starting to get more and more cloudy and I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I park my car inside a garage every night and use a headlight sealer about 1-2x's a month (http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Magic-730-6-Headlight-Sealer/dp/B0051PJWQW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1380005021&sr=8-2&keywords=blue+magic+headlight)
so I'm really confused why this is happening. Do you think the dealership will cover this? Or should I just get a headlight restore kit and fix it myself? |

Maybe stop using the headlight sealer..its way too soon for them to be fogging

Yeah that's a good idea. I use it only because it says it prevents clouding and is supposed to provide uv protection for the headlights. I'm gonna try and bring my car to the dealership and get it checked out cause I haven't seem anyone with this problem before

After installing steering rack bushings and bolting up the rack about a tooth off, my steering wheel is slightly off center.
Would it be acceptable to pull the steering wheel itself off and re-align? |

I'm going to speculate no.. There are sensors in the steering wheel that allows the vdc to sense if the car is sliding. (Iirc)

What was the ideal idle vacuum? Im at -18, and I thought it was in the 19-21 range. Might also be because the car as 200 miles on it.

warm idle should be over 20 I think, although I think the actual range is like 17-22

Thanks. Research doesnt seem to turn up a definitive answer, and it seems I may screw up the clock spring too. Too risky, Ill wait until I need an alignment.

A friend of mine did those steering bushings and didn't align things properly. Ended up breaking a sensor when he turned the wheel, it was rather expensive to have replaced from what he said.

Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but didn't want to clog up the picture thread anymore...
For people who plastidipped the side vents in the front bumper, how did you do it? Are they removable or did you just tape it off? |

they just pop off, although you could just mask around it and peel the excess off the surrounding paint

I dipped mine and it lasted only 1 year before it started getting too damaged from debris.

It looks... not as glaring but still out of place. Cutting out the center so you just had one big opening across the back would work better imo
