I didn't take any pics of the process but I followed the steps that garudatwo used a while back.
took the grill apart, removed the mustache screws from the back, and with a dremel tool cut of the sides and top of the mustache. Then I filled in the holes with a mesh backing and bondo, sanded it down to match the grill and painted it. Used a mesh grill insert from homedepot its a gutter guard, painted it black, and used bondo to attach some zipties to the grill. and then used double sided tape to add the WRX emblem, and to finish it off the silver pin stripe. it was a fun project, my first time using a dremel, and bondo! hahah oh also! while the grill was off, I plastidiped the part of the bumper behind the grill, otherwise you would be able to see silver behind the grill and I just didn't like it. with the black background looks a lot better.. |

I was over on the hill with a couple legacy guys. There were a lot of nice subies there that's for sure. That white STI hatch in the pavilion other than the tire stretch was bad as hell. My buddy placed third with his 370Z. Dude that rain was nasty when we first got there. My wife and I had ponchos that we bought for baseball games so we were sorta dry lol. Next year, tent. The car looked good, those rims look really well put together IMO, your poor mud flaps were taking a beating parking there though.

Installed RCE F&R 25mm swaybars. Butt-gyro feels like 90% of the body roll's gone.

Not the greatest pictures, but this is about a week after getting it detailed in the Twin Cities, driving it 200 miles, and having it get all dusty from just being located in Eau Claire.
