Wow, the MAF scaling was that far off on the Cobb base map?! Do you have a non stock MAF installed?

Post some WOT logs now that it's fixed. Wanna see how much more air the MAF is registering.

Not sure what threw the scaling off, it appears to be a stock MAF housing. The OTS maps aren't typically that far off, but every car is different. Scaling was mainly off in the 2-3.5v range. We cleaned up the boost control, timing, and a few other things.

I didn't believe Josh when he said how horrible the car ran before, but now I do. Thankfully it's all fixed, and runs great!

The scaling being that far off seems like some kind of mechanical issue to me. MAF scaling should be smooth throughout the range. In fact, the stock MAF scaling fits a 3rd order polynomial curve perfectly. Like R = 1 perfectly... So if it had to be adjusted so there's a massive bump in the 2 to 3.5v range, then something is different about it mechanically.

I know every car is different, but not that different.

The entire MAF curve has been changed, just needed the most adjustment in that range. It is still smooth, trust me I've tuned a few of these cars and wouldn't bandaid a mechanical problem....

We checked the car, mechanically all is good. Runs a drives perfect now, no issues, fuel trims dead on, and runs alot better than before.

Oh, for some reason I thought you only had to primarily change it in the 2 to 3.5v range. But yeah, smooth is good. Good job on getting it sorted.

Does anyone need a Brand New in Box ACT Streetlite Flywheel for 06-13 WRX? Bought it thinking this boost issue (random revving under boost seemed a bit like clutch slippage).

Anyway, Ill do $200 for anyone local. Its $266 new.

Our computers here are down at USX from the snow. Not to mention only half of us made it in. Guy in our other dept drives a Legacy apparently. Wasted an hour bull****ting about it.

This is why America's GDP is low.

I have a brand new TOB for a 06+ wrx. It came from a clutchmasters clutch. If anybody needs one. I honestly don't know what it's worth. Maybe a case of Yuengling?

I'm the only one at work with RWD and the only one with snow tires. I wasn't the first one in but was the first engineer there. Did donuts for like 10 minutes when I got there since they didn't plow the lot. Had to clear a parking space.

Might be relevant to note that I'm never the first one in and am the furthest away.

It was a entire network failure for UPMC. I was locked out for half the day. needless to say my boss was not too thrilled.
