I got a Honda civic fort 18th birthday and after 3 months of ownership it was rear ended by one of my buddies in his wrx. I've been in love with Subaru ever since

My Father bought a 98 Outback in 02. Since then, he's owned 9 Subaru's since. But at about his 3rd one, I got attached. The first thing that caught my eye was the snow drive. It amazed the hell out of me when I was around 15. And now I'm here, on my 3rd Subaru!

Don't know if a thread has been made about this or not so pardon me if there is one.
It was a snowy day and I couldn't get out my driveway so my friend picked me up in his Subaru. Fell in love ever since and decided to purchase my first one a month ago.

When the 04/05 STi came out, i fell in love. I was only 13 when that happened. Then in 07 my brother got a 07 WRX, i liked it, but was pissed cause he didnt know anything about it/still doesnt and asks me for help. Then in Feb 11 i finally got a chance to own the second car i love, a 2000 STM RS coupe, which i still love and am currently waiting on parts to fix, then after graduating college, and getting a decent job. I could finally afford my dream car, thats after totalling my dream bike('12 848evo), now i own 2 Subies. My RS and a now a 374whp AW 05 STi that i love. In that past 3 years ive gotten 2 ex and now my current gf to like subarus. Win.

About a year after high school the bugeyes came out and I fell in love when a couple older friends of mine picked up a pair.... I couldn't afford one after getting my own place and moving 1500 miles.. but after several project cars later I turned around and found a couple beautiful wrx wagons with open arms for me and my wife.. its been fun ever since. Year and a half with mine, about 6 months with her limited hawkeye wagon so far. Don't know what our next cars will be when these turn to dust, but I can assure you as of now, they will be subarus!

When I was 16 I went to look at a Scion tC at local Toyota dealership with my dad, when we went inside to talk about the scion and they had an 08 Legacy 2.5i Ltd in the showroom right as you walk in and I fell in love with how it looked and left with that instead

I received a '95 Impreza LX as a high school graduation gift back in the summer of 2006. It was passed down from my aunt who bought it new in '94/'95.. we picked it up after she moved to SC and didn't need AWD. At that point it was 11ish years old and our family was going to get rid of it, so they let me have it.

After that was totaled by some guy hitting me from behind on the highway (not my fault), I picked up a '98 OBS, which I really modded.. complete suspension, wheels, tires, etc. Autocrossed it. Loved it.

After that rusted out for the most part, I nabbed a 2004 WRX, and here I am at stage 2.

Because the Subaru WRX was all-around a decent price compared to the alternatives. I would prefer something like the all-new Chevy SS with a 6 speed, but I am sure the price will be ridiculous.

I bought a 92 loyale off my grandpa's friend for $75, learned how to drive manual on it. After that, in all of its 90hp glory, I was sold.

Went around dealerships in town searching for a big V8 TransAm for my first car at 16years old. Found one at a Subaru dealership. As the salesmen went to get the keys for it I found a black bugeye 2.5rs near by. Once he returned with the keys to the TransAm I needed to get my hands on the RS and had it for 6years till it was wrecked. Have a 06 WRX now but all my friends enjoyed my RS better as did I. That car got 3 of my friends into subarus now and they all enjoy em.

My biological mother's boss at Boulder Community Hospital had a 1998 red Subaru Forester, the first year they came to the USDM. ;D I've always wanted a Subaru Forester since then and now I have my own. My biological mother told me that her boss bought that car because whenever it snowed her boss still needed to be on site at the hospital and she always was because of the Subaru Forester. She also said that it "never slipped in the snow" but even I knew better than that when I was 9 years old.

Did you used to play Gran Turismo? If I remember correctly I think one of the earlier ones (maybe #2) had the Subaru dealership near Australia on the car purchasing map, so that could be why. Or that they have a car called the Outback.

I know that, the context just confused me, I'm going to assume then that you were raised by a different parents but still had a relationship with your biological mother, right?

or did I just make my self look like more of an ass

I was mostly raised by my aunt on my biological mother's side. She had a blue Toyota Corolla wagon. Since I loved her like a mother and I loved her car (even if it was an old clunker), I thought and still think it's so cool she drove a Toyota wagon. The Subaru Forester, first generation, looked more like a raised wagon back then too so... yeah.

I had always dreamed of picking up a subaru since I heard a STI driving down the road. A few years later I saved hard and managed to pick up my 07 WRX. I'm in love with this thing.

I have always been into cars, started working on them and building engines when I was 16. Started out with a honda and just moved up form there. Sold both my sti's a few years ago and am currently the owner of a badass evo. Looking to maybe get another sti again for daily use.
