Default rotating intake manifold

Has anyone flipped the manifold so the throttle body is facing forward. Looking for pics and information on weather or not it is even possible.

Thanks

Flipping the manifold is easy. It's the custom fabbed metal brackets that are difficult. I flipped the manifold on my Legacy around, and we had to cut and reweld the manifold to hold the TB at a different angle (we had to sacrifice one manifold to get the bracket and weld it to another). That was the first snag. The other option is cutting a hole in the hood. The second snag is mounting the alternator. We made a bracket, but had a really hard time getting it to hold steady under full throttle. The belts never slipped off, but looked like it was very possible. We came up with some tubing to get around the radiator right to the grill, but it never really fit that well. In the end, the car was returned to stock.

It'll be different for different models and model years, though, so some may work out really well, much more easily.
