i am currently running a 2005 STI EJ257 block with EJ20K heads... they have the same CC chambers. and should be close to the same...

I am using stock STI head gaskets, although i am using low compression JE pistons.

has been in for about 10k miles and no problems to date...

Here is a link to my webpage with all my engine specs on it:
http://www.suberdave.com

I am running a VF37 turbo and a ViPEC standalone ECU with custom dyno tune.

no way you will be able to change compression ratio, increase displacement by 25% and not need a custom tune (and bigger injectors)

Stock injectors are ~440cc
I am running ~780cc injectors on my Hybrid engine.

the ~440cc injectors were maxing out with the stock engine and a few bolt on mods.

Default Question

Is there any problems with valve clearance with the stock 2.5 pistons and if not would stage 3 cams have clearance issues? I am doing this build myself right now
