Sorry to hear this happened to both you and Munkie but glad you all seem to be okay. Be sure to always get a second doctors opinion if you're feeling any pain or discomfort since the accident. Hopefully things work themselves out and insurance cover the damages. Remember if getting the vehicle repaired, AK state law allows you to select which shop you prefer, you don't have to go by the insurance recommendations.
This is exactly how I developed this habit as well with my Yamahas. I tend to be in the out most turn lanes and allow to the driver next to me to proceed first, as well as act as a small barrier. Thing about bikes is you ride around almost always feeling you're going to be hit or ran off the road, that mentality goes with you even on 4 wheels. |

I finally got it back! It felt so good to drive it until I started smelling and seeing fumes come out of my hoodscoop. I'm not sure what it is but it seems like their might be a leak next to the turbo.

Not sure what you had done but it is pretty typical to have a little coolant or oil burn off of the exhaust, turbo etc. usually takes 5-10 mins

It might be from the power steering fluid maybe? Because they had to change the steering fluid reservoir because it was broken. I think it might be just the fluid that leaked around where the steering fluid reservoir is. My oil level seems the same as it was when I have it to them.
