Default URGENT!!! Can 02 wrx stock struts and springs go on an 05 wrx

Just what the title says... Need to find out asap! Thanks!

front is no problem,but you will need 04 and higher rear top hat.

got it... thanks... So my understanding is that the 05 will need 05 top hats to work with my 02 struts and springs...?

NO

02/03 struts and springs need 02/03 tops.

Guys if you think about how it fits together instead of just 'someone told me' it may be clearer

02-03 rear springs are straight (same coil dia top and bottom) whereas 04-07 rear springs taper to a smaller dia at the top. The rear upper spring perch is formed by the tophat so the spring year and the rear tophat year need to match.

Once you've determined what style rear tophat you need (based on the springs) you need to make sure the struts mate to that. Due to slight differences in the top portion of the rear strut shaft it has been found that 02-03 struts need a spacer under the tophat to fit tight with 04-07 rear tophats.
