It's a love-hate relationship for me. I love him because he posts fap worthy pictures. And hate him because I'm super jelly.

I'm assuming your friends bought 4 doors (as most people do)?

There's your answer. People have always liked the idea of the Wrangler, but they just weren't practical for most until the 4 door unlimited came out.
Suddenly you could have your topless offroader and have room for the family + gear.

Again, that's as far as I got.

PSC Brawler Lite Front is on.
Brawler rear goes on this coming weekend I hope (FU Mother's Day).
Winch should arrive today.

What speed did it happen at? On my 04 wrangler I ran into that and was able to minimize it by upping the tire pressure from ~30 to ~38. I chased the proper solution from replacing the track bar and steering dampener to eventually replacing tires. Not a fun experience doing 70 on a so-cal freeway when DW strikes.

starts around 20, never gets horribly bad but it's apparent.

Have you seen the price of used Wranglers lately? You're probably better off going new.

But I put stupid wheels and an AEV bumper on it, it's gotta be worth a %10 premium over new for my 5 year old Wrangler......

for the south east, in my market, if you want a TJ, with the 4.0 and a 5spd, you're looking at $8K minimum.

i've just accepted that if i want to get into a decent wranger it's going to cost me $10k.

No kidding. The used market for JKs is absurd. Especially somewhere like where I live where they're every other car on the road.

I have an irrational intense hatred for the wrangler unlimited. It looks stupidly long and makes no sense to me.

I have and it's not just the newer ones. I wanted a YJ. People wanted 5 grand for a rusty 20 year old beater. F that. It's why I have a samurai now. I paid $1500.

That's funny, ever since it came out I think the 2 door JK's look dumb.

Alignment bud.

If all you did was take out an axle

Make sure you increase caster from stock value.

Running 35-37's should be about 4.5-6 degrees

Yeah, I think I'm going to replace some components which obviously are in need of it under there before I go get another alignment. Last alignment I got was about 1 yr and they were having a problem getting camber in spec on the drivers front, which I haven't fixed. Of course, that was before the axle work this week.

Honestly how bad of decision can a mid 90's discovery be (for occasional driving/truck stuff) given they're aluminium, and can be had for next to damn nothing?

I wouldn't need to drive it every day.
