Btw... Honda Pilot is a great SUV, but I hates driving it. Learned that on backwoods roads, you need to turn the steering well before the turn starts. LOL
Now some of that is because of what you are used to driving. Drive around in my mailtruck all day and that damned Pilot will handle like an F1 car.

I hope Grandma is as good as a 101 year-old can be...I hope you're wrong about the not getting out. But then, if she doesn't, rest easy in that she had a good long life. My thoughts are with you my friend.

So if they are worried about 0.2%, what is their accuracy specification?

We shall see... Hopeful, but realistic. She's broken all the rules so far, still drives, lives alone...

welllllll....there was an.........incident......not long ago where sombody...mmm....well, lets be blunt
somebody screwed the p00ch pretty bad....and they had just a LIL-bitty fire on one of these $15M rigs...yeah...that's 15MILLION dollabucks.....and it kinna melted and burned...this is solid steel we're talkin about.... a good bit of one side of the rig and its now bein assessed......and much of it may have to be scrapped

the fact that nobody was killed is a miricle as it was shift change and the night crew haddnt got up on the rig yet when it happened...or there would have been a couple casualties, no doubt as the area that blew up was the area where there are always crew working....and where i have to do much of my work

that rig is not far from here and the geology of this area is such that there is a LOT of the hydrocarbons that are being drilled for.....and that means that an accident is only as far away as the next idiot doing something st00pid as natural gas at several thousand pounds per square inch makes for a REAL GOOD bomb and blowtorch.

this IS a dangerous sport, folks......people get killed all the time and it gets hushed up.....

so they are being REAL cautious here so they dont burn a $15M rig down and maybe kill people in the process.

and they just decided to stop and go back down to the bottom and circulate the mud around some more and let the gas up and out some more

I are back.

Grandma passed on, but it was all good.

Got pulled over doing 85 in GA (actually was 90+), and got off with a warning due to the very cool trooper. He said that it would have been a $600 ticket!

I didn't miss it. I was surprised only one sales man approached me with how much I was drooling. I sat in one the other day, and it just feels good. The layout of them is very cockpit like, comfortable, sporty. I want one, but its going to be a toss up with the new Forester coming out in a few months. Give me a shout when the first XT comes in would ya Shaun.

Yep, my place exactly. Love the BRZ, but not more than the STI. And I love the new STI, but it isn't enough of an improvement on the 05 for me to swap them out.

HOWEVER... This is the year for me to get another car. Current list for test drives are S4, CTS-V, and M3. My pop's M5 just had its SMG gearbox ***** the bed, and has left him stranded 3 times with breakdowns, so I'm not enamored with BMW's reliability. His colleague has a newer M3 that has left him stranded 3 times as well. Sheesh.
