I already forget who was who, haha... but it was nice to finally get out and meet some people.

For others who may be like me and forgot already, I had the (very dirty) Blue/Gray 04 STi, name is Jamie.

Next time I'll stick around longer and get food with everyone.

Anyone local have a 20g sti or upgraded turbo? Starting to think installing my eql header and ewg wouldn't net me much without a bigger turbo.

This is a Subaru, son. Not a Bentley, or a Ferrari, or a Bugatti. A Subaru.

Did you end up blowing up your stock motor ?
How does it drive, still power down low with good spool?

Trying to get the car to not fall flat on it's face after the initial spool.

Love the kick I get when I spool but up high it isn't close to what I want to feel. (coming from driving a 600/600 rwhp car daily) don't need alot of speed but want the pull to be throughout the ppwerband.

I know exactly what you mean. After being in a few 9sec cars, the STi just feels lame

Some day I can afford to make it fast! I hope!

Your STi has nothing on my civic. it's amazing how fast my STi actually was, and i think about it every single time I get in the little ****box civic.

i didnt blow up my stock motor (i hope i never do) but do plan on building my bottom end this winter as im on borrowed time.....and i really want a 2.35 with a 9k redline on a big turbo. i pulled my motor to do lots of maint. stuff and add some more power mods.

im currently on a blouch td05 20g 8cm IWG. the car the car made 360ft.lbs and 352hp on a dynapack. i see peak torque by 3800rpm (i think). its neck breaking. that was on
catless turbo back
740cc injectors
1 step colder plugs
gimmick inlet and aftermaf
walboro 255
CSS FMIC
at 22psi.
stock clutch slipping badly.
tuned my matt miner at WI

stock manifolds, stock tgv's, no EWG, no meth

The car in in my opinion a perfect daily, doesnt fall on its face after initial boost, holds 350 to redline. while it isnt going to come close to hitting 600 like you had in the G, it is pretty quick. im hoping with my latest round of mods to break 380/380 on 93pump.

hopefully it will see daylight in the next 2 weeks.

Subaru spends millions on dollars on R/D. That wing is functional and there for a reason. I know this. I still am considering removing it. I think I've already made up my mind.

would be straight trade.. i don't think many people want the sti wing

make sure you trade for brake light and trunk torsion bars also (might have to give a bit of cash for the brake light)

dude i'd do that.. but then i'll just go ahead and buy a GTR or something more valuable.

Learned my lesson with rebuilding my past car twice. Could've bought a GTR and been happy all day
