Finally Decided on Wheels for '08 STi -- Gram Light 57 Optimise -- Pics
After being indecisive as to what wheels to put on our project 2008 STi we finally settled on a set of Gram Light 57 Optimise in a size that will allow us to use our OEM tires still for the time being. We are very happy with how the fitment and look turned. The Gram Light 57 Optimise also offer a substantial weight savings over the OEM STi wheels.
Wheel size = 18" x 8.5" (OEM STi Tires, 245/40/18) +43mm Offset 5x114.3 Lug Pattern Color = Shining Silver Weight = 20.5 lbs IPG Parts // Innes Performance Group - Project Car: 2008 Subaru WRX STi IPG Parts // Innes Performance Group - Project Car: 2008 Subaru WRX STi [email protected]

Holy Cow those stock 5 spoke STI wheels are HEAVY! Nice choice on the new wheels, they look good on the car.

Wow, I didn't realize Subaru must have decided to use heavier wheels to save some money. Having an 04 STi means every time I look at wheels I keep realizing how much weight will be added and then I become .
