Default Looking to buy OEM HID's for '13 WRX

I am picking up my first Subaru tomorrow, as well as my first turbo! I'm so excited. The only thing I want to do initially is install HID's. Is there a company online that sells the complete assembly? I do not want retrofitted headlights, I want an OEM unit. Thanks!

get the dealer to do it before you pick it up. Also get them to put a clear bra on the hood of the car. You wont regret it!!

Subaru sells the true HID headlight assemblies. No other company sells them really. A retrofit would be far cheaper then buying new from the dealer, but you don't want it.

HID headlight assemblies are anywhere from 600-800 each. That means you're going to be looking at about $1500 for the set, give or take...

You don't want it, unless you want people to hate you

Check out the Retrofit Source (google it). Funny enough I was looking today, and could do a basic kit for around 300.

I will say, if you wanted HID's so bad you should have ordered them with the car, would have been cheaper.

I was going to get a retrofit, but I opted for osram night breakers instead. They're plenty bright and don't seem to blind oncoming traffic.

Also, +1 on the clear bra

I'm pretty sure you can't order HID headlights as an option, you must order a limited for the WRX to get them. I would've considered it but I didn't want a bunch of the stuff that comes with the limited. Unless you meant put in an order for the HID's through the parts department at the time of ordering the car for a discount?

He means getting the Limited trim.

If you don't want the rest of the package you can just buy OEM HID lights but you have to put in the leveling switch and etc if you want it all factory and complete.

The only things the limited adds over the premium is HIDs and leather.

The dealer doesn't have the color of hatch that I want with HID's. I also don't really need anything else, so I'd rather just get a base hatch and add what I want. Thanks for all the responses everyone.

+1. HIDs are the reason I bought a limited. Good luck adding them, you'll love the results. I added some Sylvania Silverstar ZXE high beam lamps next to my HID lows and night time driving is incredible now.

A correct retrofit like im doing (OEM STI projectors with motor ETC.) will not blind anyone.
