Default what to do?

Well the head gasket went on my legacys 2.5 and i have to figure out what to do now. Whats better sti/wrx swap or build the 2.5 and add a turbo?

i don't know if i'd be comfortable turbo'ing the EJ25, especially when the supply of good EJ205/257 swaps is getting much more plentiful these days.

Swap whatever you can afford. But you should probably swap in something nice since a swap would be costly and time consuming. You would want something that will keep you happy for a good amount of time.

STi swap is probably going to be a lot more expensive than a WRX swap.

You'll also have to worry more about the drivetrain handling the power, which means you'll either have a WRX tranny that may or may not break after a while, or you'll have to go 6MT or get your WRX tranny built up by andrewtech with a PPG gearset.
